hello. i hope to get some advice regarding the sizing of 710xx. i have a pair of IH BB-OD size 32 and triple works 3230FI size 32 also. so what size should i get for 710xx? 31 or 32 ?  thanks =)

I have BBx01 and BBxOD both tagged 31 - TTS for me. I have a new pair of s710xx that I've soaked 2x and just sent back to get hemmed - I went TTS with those as well (so, 31). I was most concerned with the thigh measurement and could potentially have SDO if my thighs were a tad smaller, but the s710xx (which I wore for 3 days prior to sending in for hem) fit similar to my BB's.

I can provide measurements if interested - presoak, 1st soak, 2nd soak - just let me know.

Westvleteren monastery would be closed during the holidays:

I've never been, but until recently it was said that you could only get their beer at their monastery… However, a few weeeks ago they exported a very limited amount here to the US (not every state got it and even if a state did, it was limited to a select few liquor stores) to pay for a new roof. 4 bottle packs were ~$80 (USD) and sold out instantly, at least here in Boulder, CO. A store got it right down the street from me, but a line formed prior to the liquor store opening and as I was late to the party I missed out.

^ very cool bags, nice pick up.

marco thanks for pointing out the outer material used on the stevenson N1, i just looked at the images & kind of did a quick one-for-one & missed all those little details  :-[

The Stevenson is super nice (although I picked up the IH in olive and was able to see both side by side at SESF). The Stevenson has a more refined look than the IH and the interior is completely Sherpa lined, where the IH has quilted arms. The Stevenson  lacks a chest pocket, which the IH has and is a feature I like. I found the IH to be more functional and in line with what I want in a jacket. In IH fashion it's also completely over-engineered - everything about it is super beefy, and as others have pointed out it's incredibly warm. One thing that still throws me is the zipper being reversed, but it certainly doesn't bother me.

I wear a small in IH shirts, but went with a medium for this.

I'm in with a pair of s710xx (currently wrapped and under the tree). Have 2 pairs of BB's and wanted to try something different, but it was a much more difficult decision than I had anticipated - I still question it. I'm over at sufu with the UN of Tooth, but as with this forum, I'm a lurker... That's going to change once this comp kicks into gear.

Purchased from Blue in Green and worn ~2 weeks. No fades apparent, but creases are setting up. Smoke / pet free house. Have not touched water as these had been washed once by SDA. I had 2 roll on these are can be seen in the pictures, however, the denim has not incurred any abrasions that sometimes happens when there is a roll - I don't think they were worn enough for this to happen.

The denim and construction are super nice. Here's a breakdown taken from BiG:

• Natural Indigo Rope Dyed Jeans
• Mid Rise Straight Fit
• One Wash
• 14oz SDA Original Japanese selvage denim
• Rope Dyed with Natural Indigo for deep dark color and designed to fade like a regular indigo denim. Most natural indigo dyed denims are hand dyed which causes the indigo to penetrate the cores of the cotton yarns creating a denim that holds it's color longer and therefore will not show color fading similar to regular indigo rope dyed denims. Rope dying allows for regulating how deep the indigo will penetrate so the cores can be left undyed giving way to color fading. Rope dying requires large amounts of indigo spread out across several vats for mechanized repeating dying and is rarely done with natural indigo. The D1554's combination of rope dying and natural indigo results in a jean that will fade and distress as a regular indigo rope dyed denim would but with the added feature of being dyed with natural indigo.
100% Zimbabwe Cotton
• Front Pocket bags use cotton fabric that was Hand Dyed with Natural Indigo then silk screen printed with SDA logo
Rear Pockets are half-lined with same Hand Dyed Natural Indigo cotton fabric
• Deer skin leather patch
• Triple-needle chain stitch seam construction at center back and yoke seams
• 100% Cotton thread sewing
• Made In Japan

Yes. However, even though it's an EP, 'Natasha' is probably my favorite.
