I'm wondering if Will can get some dark brown deerskin given a year's notice or so.  I know the hide batches Aero gets vary in color from season to season.  Tough to beat the sand color, though... 
Deer is very tough.  That's why they make work gloves out of it.  Cleans up fairly easily too from what I've read, not that that concerns me much.

Here's a sample of the oil pulled HH Amanda from Aero sent me about two years ago.  I cut my sample in two and put half in a drawer and I nailed the other half to a board and put it outside where it's been since I got it.  It has not been treated and looks dried out but is still supple.

 I have a lot of IH now and have recently begun thinking a lot about what I want built with leather. 

I have about 5 Aero samples hanging around this sample and 7 from Langlitz Leathers.  They were all cut in half to see how they'd age and they've all been out there for 2 to 3 years. 

I have big plans for jackets with both of these companies. They're the best.  Period.
