IHSH-44 - The Big Blue
-
Spoke to Haraki about doing an indigo garment dyed version on the Great White.
We're on…..........
White slubby Oxford cotton that is indigo garment dyed
Will fade and age beautifully with wear - actually already looks fairly vintage
White cats-eye buttons throughout
Zero shrinkage -
Giles - you are going to bankrupt me . . .

Remember when we talked about not needing anything anymore Geo?.. Guess what I really don't need right now…

This would have serious potential to be a daily driver…

Dreams do come true!

Is this going to differer greatly from IHSH-21bk? Will the difference in the base material show when o/d'ed?
-
To answer my own question in case anyone else would like to know: I've been informed by Giles that these will be o/d'ed with blue indigo rather than the black used on the HSH-21bk, they may (currently under review) also have cotton stitching which will take up the dye, unlike the poly-cotton on HSH-21bk. It's looking like i may need one of each!

Hence the name 'Big Blue' ey…

UPDATE
We have decided that the base fabric for this shirt will be a pale blue Oxford weave.
Below is a pic in its virgin state and a further pic in its indigo dyed state:
The cut we will do is a a Work Shirt.
Questions.
Should we do a Western too?
Should we do either version in virgin Oxford?G
-
i'd go for both in the workshirt
if they were available right now I'd buy in this order:
1st - Indigo WS
2nd - Virgin WS
4th - Indigo Western -
lol..I'd go
1st - Indigo Westerm
2nd - Indigo Western
3d - white ws -
sorry, yes
-
hahaha - no fair beats . . . you can't pick the great white in the big blue thread
you need to choose another . . .
-
1st - Indigo WS
2nd - Virgin WS
3th - Indigo Western -
Western would be great. I am indifferent to a variant in the stock Oxford.
