I've never ordered a pair of glasses that weren't from my eye Dr. but need some new ones soon

Would it be possible to get these http://www.selfedge.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=72&products_id=941 fitted with prescription lenses. And if so, where?

Most half decent opticians.  Usually works out cheaper than buying the shitty frames they try and palm off on to you.  Me and Mme B have resolved to always get vintage or decent (Dita for e.g.) and take them in and get them installed with our prescription lenses.  In the UK the majority of the chains will not do this (making there money off the frames) but most good independent opticians will.

That was my concern G is that I would buy the frames and nobody would be able to do the work for me

Completely agree. Buy the frames you want(online, vintage, etc.) and have a local Optician install some lenses. I had some prescription lenses put in some vintage Ray Bans and it was about $120 I think.

You might like the Freeways from Shuron. They're made a few hours away from you in Greenville, SC I believe and might be half the price of those Dry Bones frames.

A phone call to a decent local optician will get you your anser.  I live in a tiny backwater of a town and we have 3 here that will do it....

Inward OE = of course "inward office of exchange"... Just wondering whether BE Adpis means it's being presented to the custom's control organ or released to being delivered tomorrow... Pretty exciting nonetheless  ;D

Oh the age old question of what an "Adpis" is....

I googled and saw " 'Adpis' is the indonesian word for 'Advice' "

So, I guess they are asking some Belgians for advice.

It's actually the Dutch word for Advies (as they can't pronounce the letter P)... I'm hoping they're not asking any advice to the Dutchies, they'd probably pour peanutsauce all over my package...

Dude's who wear shorts: the heat's been killer this summer and I need an alternative to denim and chino's. Without dick riding, can you guys recommend me some options? (I'd prefer that they not be #menswear superslim/short.)

Hey guys, just finished air drying my 666s and I dried them hanging from the hem. Is that a bad thing? Did I ruin them by hanging from the hem? It looks like it stretched a little from where the hanger is, but I would imagine this would happen wherever you hang them from.

You didn't ruin them.  They may have stretched a bit, but just wear them!  I always hang my pants (and other things) from the heaviest part.  If you want to avoid stretching your inseam hang from the top block
