@neph93 you mean a more biker like look? I am talking here about quality... i wear barba and incotex but i also wear ironheart and samurai jeans... all of them is quality for me. Looking for a sneaker recommendation here cause i know there is a good cultured community here about clothing. I am young and trying to build a good wardrobe both for casual and business. The fact that money are not a problem for me may look out of place almost everywhere but i am just seeking help cause i don't have enough knowledge about brands and things yet. What TFH stands for? Can you please send me some links in private of what you mentioned?

And i replace my question, anyone any experience on these?

Do you know any high quality white sneakers (>300€) that doesn't look like Feit? Not my taste... i'd wear them mainly with barbanapoli and incotex trousers

EDIT: found those:

Which aren't very expensive but looks gorgeous,  i am questioning about quality, any experience with these?

those looks cool! But i am looking for something with a "darker" white, like ice coloured and more sporty yet elegant. I can spend any amount, i was looking at these original designed by zegna couture:

What do you think?

Have they been soaked or wash prior to wearing?

Edit: becuase there's varying opinions about what's best... For me I would only gently hand wash them in cold water until they are way more broken in.

A lot of people don't care. But if you're going for crisp high-contrast fades I would only hand wash.
no, since they are sanforized unwashed i put them on as soon as arrived to stretch them a bit before a first wash/soak.

thank you for all the suggestions, i think i will go for a hand washing first in the next weeks since they doesn't stink and are not stained.

to be honest, have fear to soil them, for example accidentally when eating (damn tomato spaghettis!) or when going out. So when that will happen i'll need to use the washing machine method as you informed!

Yeah man, I'm not familiar with that website at all so I can't speak on it... but if it's not too good to be true you've found a nice little gold mine, ha.

As for sizing, I've just got a fairly wide foot and wanted to size up as opposed to hoping they'd give near the ball of my foot. To give you an idea, however, I wear 42 in Buttero, 9.5/10 in anything US sizing, and got the CPs in size 43.
yeah exactly, too good to be true and the site seems pretty much amateur made... i won't put my cc details into that  :-X

Basically the "Deep Navy" model (1528-xx-1977) is older and not available anymore. New model is called "Dark Navy", 1528-xx-3013:

From pics it seems a bit lighter compared to the Deep Blue one. Which one do you have pal? Do you still think this new model would be effective as the old?

And thanks for the detailed sizing tips!

hey there, I love Common Projects. In all honesty, that navy is probably my favorite leather they do in the Achilles Low. As for sizing and such, I had to size up as they're a tad narrow. With that being said, i've completely beaten mine and they're still holding up. Many unplanned hikes, games of basketball, or the occasional skateboarding session in them and they're still kicking. ALSO, they're going to look absolutely killer with some IH jeans - especially something with a bit more of a tapered cut.
oh man, you just sold me a pair with this post! thank you so much for your recommendation :)

this model 1528-xx-1977 is basically unavailable everywhere in my size but i have found it here:

http://www.meme-desirsdavenir.com/common-projects-original-mens-achilles-low-deep-navy-sneakers-p-755.html

but i am concerned about the price... so low, do you think i should trust? no discussions in web for this site

and about size, so they actually fit smaller? cause i have read the opposite thing, that CP sneakers fits larger and i would need to choose 1 size down compared to other branded sneakers such as nike and adidas

You sneakers lovers, can you suggest me good brand pair that is also elegant enough? Not too low, not too high, mono-colored and without any logo? A pair that can be used also at work for example?  Maybe i can start reusing them...

or ...  Google 'Common Projects'

 :)
[/quote]+1 thank you Sir, those are very cool, just started a new thread to search help as i don't want to spam here

After some thinking (and some forum useful suggestions) i have decided to buy a pair of leather sneakers, i didn't use them for years and the big monstrous super-hyped ones never attracted me... i would prefer a pair, simple and elegant with no logos, that can be used on every occasion and abuse them.

My eyes stared at this dark navy coloured one, Common Projects:

https://www.fransboonestore.com/products/common-projects-original-achilles-ow-deep-navy

What do you think of this model and brand? Are they ok for a short man (i am 172 cm tall) and not fat but neither thin?

And more important, would they be good with a good pair of IH jeans on?
