I like that you and the dog share the same expression  :D

@popvulture I like the 634 but tend to size down with them that they don’t come too boxy for my liking. They have the perfect top block for me but could be a tad bit slimmer in the knee and hem, that’s why I size down and wait for the waist to stretch  :D
The 888 has a great fit, works with engineers but I prefer the lower/mid waist of the 634/666. haven’t owned a 888, just tried them on in the store.
In general I prefer slightly slimmer straight leg cuts, although for more dressier occasions the 777 is great with the taper.

It really is great. I haven’t worn anything else this winter here in Switzerland. With a thermal and UHF even -8 haven’t been an issue for me.

Totally agree, look great to me.

I hope I manage to get a pair of the UHR. This will be the next denim.

Man I love this cut and jeans but these thighs…if they would only have similar measurements as the 14oz 666.

Did you notice any shrinkage on the thighs after a wash? Would you mind posting some measurements before and after in case you should have them?

I'm on 5+ months with my pair and haven't shown them water so far. The fit is immaculate, though not sure what to expect after a  wash.

On the 14oz? Minimal shrinkage but only for a couple of days after wash, then  back to normal.

I have the same in my left boot since I have to wear an additional insole to accommodate for difference in my feet (the left one is quite a bit smaller). I have the same pressure points at the arch, not everytime and only if the sock is a hair too thick. It did not go away after 6 months regular wear, so stretch for me in this area is not really given.
Since it’s only occasionally and I know which socks to avoid, I doesn’t bother me, but I have high hopes that I won’t have this issue with the custom last anymore.

I feel you, I thought at first I wear ski boots. It goes away once the midsole is broken in.

That’s a fine looking boot.
As mentioned before, they take a bit to break in and might feel wobbly at first when walking but they will mould to your feet. Snug is good, too short wouldn’t be good.

And just received an email, another 40 weeks for the Quick Striker :'( I hope they are worth but at the same time have no doubt...
I looked them up and they are gorgeous.

They are indeed. I love the olive waxed flesh and longer straps. They will look great a year into wearing them.
Oh and thanks for the IKEA shoe storage tip. I checked them yesterday and they are great for our purpose especially since our walk in closet consists of doorless PAX. In the bigger ones I can fit 8 pairs (front and back).
