Going, Going, Gone.... / IHSH-33-Indigo, Large, (22.0" Chest)
« on: August 26, 2019, 05:11:00 pm »
I'm selling this as it's borderline neat on me, so I'm going to upsize.  It's in excellent condition, washed yesterday. £120 delivered to the UK, £130 ROTW.

Chest - 22.0"
Shoulders - 18.25"
Back - 28.75"
Sleeve - 25.0"

Buying and Selling / IH-526Lod, XXL/42" (23" Chest)
« on: August 02, 2019, 04:32:42 pm »
I'm selling this because I prefer the shorter length of my SBG and really don't need this as well.  It's been worn a lot since release this year and is starting to look pretty good, with some slight fades coming through in the right light.  No marks or tears.  Washed once.

£240 delivered to UK; £250 ROTW.

Chest - 23.0"
Shoulders - 19.5"
Back - 26.75"
Sleeve - 26.75"
Hem - 20.5"

Buying and Selling / IH-526J-1402-OD; 44/XXL (23"P2P)
« on: July 20, 2019, 01:31:26 pm »
I'm selling this because I also have the 19oz version and really don't need this as well.  It was only worn in the period between the two releases, so a month or so.  It's starting to wrinkle at the arms, so doesn't look brand spanking new.

£190 delivered to UK; £200 ROTW.

There's a virtually unnoticeable mark under the second lowest button, to the right, caused when I got some white paint on it.  I rubbed it off as best I could then put permanent marker over it to darken it.  It just looks like the fades you get elsewhere and will definitely merge in even more over time.  The main picture shows what it really looks like.

Chest - 23.0"
Shoulders - 19.0"
Back - 26.5"
Sleeve - 26.75"
Hem - 20.5"

Buying and Selling / Aero Stockman, Black FQHH, 38" (Fits 40")
« on: June 15, 2019, 01:30:19 pm »
Aero Leather Stockman Jacket, Black Front Quarter Horsehide, 38" chest.  Made by Julie Leitch.  Stockmans are made large, so although I'm a 40", this was the correct size.  It depends on the amount of layering you'd have.  UK - £250; EU - £260; ROTW - £270.

Shoulders (straight across back midway between seams) - 18.25"
Chest (at bottom of arms seam) - 23.5"
Sleeve down outside curve - 25.0" (Now wrinkled, so minimal further shrinkage)
Sleeve (from under arm) - 16.75"
Back from base of collar - 29.25"
Hem - 23.0"

It's basically a car coat, so pretty much straight up and down.  No flattering v-shapes here.  There's very slight wear to the lining at the bottom of the right and left sides.  It's so small I never even noticed at first, and you might not either, but better to be 100% clear.

Buying and Selling / IH-634S, W34/34.5L
« on: April 19, 2019, 05:12:47 pm »
IH-634S.  I prefer my narrower cuts, so haven't worn these in over a year.  Soaked once, or twice max.  No holes, marks or tears.
£115 posted to UK, £125 ROTW.
Waist - 17.0"
Leg (uncuffed) - 34.5"
FR - 11.25"
RR - 15.75"
Hem - 8.9"

It's fair to say that I like IH jeans jackets, now having 7 (plus the 9526V).  If I had to choose, my favourite would be the 101J, followed by the 526J and then the 526-sbg.  I have big hopes for the 526Lod, though.

Left to right: 101J-blk, 69, 526-142od, 526, 526-sbg, 101J, 526Lod.

Buying and Selling / IHSH-07, Large (better as Medium)
« on: March 03, 2019, 12:17:38 pm »
I'm selling these as they're the least worn of my shirts due to being too small.

IHSH-85 (Johnny Cash) SOLD

IHSH-07, Large £100 delivered UK, £105 delivered ROTW (Paypal plus 3.5% or Friends & Family)
Pit-Pit - 22.0"
Shoulders - 18.0"
Back - 30.25"
Sleeves - 26.0"

I had these made about 3 years ago but haven't worn them more than 15-20 times, and not at all in the last year or so.  I found them to be slightly tighter across the instep than my black US11 Boss and Jobmaster boots, maybe because the harness toe makes them a bit narrower, so wear the blacks more because of that.  D width is standard, not wide or narrow.  I'd say these are probably a better fit for a UK9/9.5 or EU43, as that would allow room for an insole for a better fit.

They're technically a Boss boot with the Harness toe, made in the standard burgundy domain (or whatever) leather.  This leather is I think 5mm as opposed to the 7mm of the standard black, but it's not noticeable in real life.  They have the Vibram 430 sole, so a small rubber grip which I much prefer to leather.

They have quite a few scuff marks which add to the character, and there's a bigger scrape of about an inch square on the right heel where I caught it on a step, but this has been covered in oxblood polish.  It's hard to see because of the reflection.  There's also some wrinkling over the instep.  A thin removable insole is included.

Price £200 delivered to the UK, £220 delivered to the EU, but please either add 4% for paypal or pay F&F.  You could pay bank transfer if you want to save the fee.

Going, Going, Gone.... / IHSH-33-Black, Large

I need to thin the herd, so I'm putting this up for sale.  Pics and measurements to follow tonight, but I'm an L/XL normally, so this is probably best suited to an M/L, depending on the fit you want.

It's hardly been worn as I have so many shirts and I prefer the indigo and wabash versions.

£100 delivered UK, £105 ROTW, both PayPal F+F or plus 3.5%.  Or bank transfer with no fees.

Going, Going, Gone.... / IHV-02-BLK, Large
« on: January 19, 2019, 10:47:02 am »
I've moved away from vests now, having way too many IH shirts and jackets, which I now prefer.

This is in very good nick, no marks or tears.  £100 inc P&P to UK, £105 inc P&P ROTW, both Paypal F+F or +3.5% fees, or you can pay by bank transfer to save the fees.

P2P - 20.5"
Back - 21.0"
Front - 24"

Going, Going, Gone.... / Buzz Rickson N1 - Demotexed, Khaki, Size 40
« on: November 26, 2018, 05:28:56 pm »
This is the better version of the BR N1, with I think real alpaca and a slightly thicker shell.  The alpaca is also in the sleeves.

Size 40", it's in very good condition, with no marks, holes or tears  It originally had USN stencilled on the left chest, but I rubbed that off with a wet towel and it's unnoticeable unless you're very close up and looking for it.  It has two hip pockets and no inner pockets.  It has storm cuffs.

Chest - 23.5"
Back from base of collar - 27.5"
Arm down outer curve - 25.75"

I take an XL in IH jeans jackets, so if you're an L or small XL in IH shirts, this should work for you.

Going, Going, Gone.... / IHSH-62-Black - Large
« on: August 26, 2018, 03:04:14 pm »
I have too many shirts and wear this the least, hence the sale.  It's been worn quite a lot, so definitely not new, but neither it it even near broken in.  It still feels the stiffest of all my IH shirts for some reason.

Size Large, it has a 22" chest and 30.75" back length.  It has been cold washed a few times, and now I'd say it's more of a small Large or a large Medium, if you know what I mean.

Please note that I cut off the chain stitch run-offs, so don't buy if that's important to you.

£100 delivered to the UK, £110 overseas, both Paypal Friends and Family, or plus 3%.

The Resource Centre / 12oz Differences
« on: June 04, 2018, 01:29:22 pm »
Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere.

I did a big wash of some IH shirts at the weekend and was surprised (again) as to how different some of my 12oz ones felt.

The 62-blk was by far the stiffest, followed by the 07 and 85, with the two 33s (ind/blk) being almost silky in comparison.

What makes the 62 and 07/85 so heavy feeling and stiff?  Some magic in the weave?

And is the 62-ind as stiff as the blk?
