My boy has instructed me to place the following items up for give away, as they are things which he has received as generous gifts over the years. Ideally the tee and shorts would suit a young teen or smaller adult.

I believe that all of these items were given to Tommy by Beatle a long time ago, they have not had much wear from him so I am happy to see them passed on to somebody who can make use of them, I just ask two things….

* You cover the postage costs.

* You have to wait around a week for me to ship them as I am a busy boy.

First up, a waaaaaaay old IH tee from many many moons ago. Tagged size small it measures 18” pit to pit.

Secondly we have a pair of pinstripe painter shorts. These measure 16” across the waist and the total length (waistband to hem) is 21”.

Lastly we have an Iron Heart 21oz denim cap, with the old school motors patch sewn on. No chance this will ever fit my massive cranium so here it is.

@Giles @Alex , just continuing a train of thought from the “What were you wearing” thread, prompted by Giles classic tee.

I know that a lot of the Iron Heart back catalogue would be very difficult if not impossible to retro, but with things like classic tee’s, or other cut and sewn, would it be theoretically possible?

I’ve said it before and i’ll say it again. In n Out Burger is the finest in American cuisine, for a very reasonable price too. Some may disagree, but to save you the bother you are wrong.

A short term thread for folks to share their thoughts on the year past, and their hopes for the year ahead…..
From an Iron Heart perspective I think it’s been an awesome year for the brand and the forum. The brand has seen some of its best collections to date, with some incredible original designs and fabrics, as well as the return of a few old favourites. I’ve taken enormous personal pleasure from how well the 888 cut has been received, to see it come to fruition and to be able to wear it daily from those early beer fuelled discussions last New Year with @Giles and @Chris has been fantastic.
The forum has also gone from strength to strength, earlier in the year it seemed to be getting a little stale but in the second half of the year we have seen newer members stepping up and becoming forum fixtures as well as the mod team receiving an injection of new blood and enthusiasm. On a personal note I take great pride in the fact that the forum remains a real community where people can bust each other’s balls without malice, like real world friends.
Speaking of real world friends, @Giles  birthday afforded an opportunity to catch up with old friends, some of whom I cannot believe I have now known for so many years (I’m looking at you Padmore’s @Alex , @rocket , @chris , @swiss-jeansfreak , @Graeme and @trail and arrow ), and to make new friends too such as @neph93  and @UnTucked . It was also amazing to finally meet some people who I have spent a long time conversing with, but never had the pleasure of meeting, such as @louisbosco , @Cole  and @ROman
The whole Kanreki weekend was exactly what I’d expect for an event organised by the incomparable @Madame Buttonfly , perfectly timed and a lot of fun for everyone who attended or observed the celebrations through the forum, and flawless display of the esteem in which @Giles  is held (for some unfathomable reason).
Looking ahead to next year I’m eagerly anticipating a Spring meeting with my arch nemesis/ man I love like an estranged brother @Seul , over beers and bacon. Then later in the year I’ll hope to meet up with a few SoCal based members of the Iron Heart Army in Los Angeles, I need to break the news to @seawolf  that Mrs Seawolf has agreed to spend a day at a theme park with us on his behalf too, so he gets first shift on the biggest roller coasters.
Thank you one and all for making this such a great year for Iron Heart, for keeping this community strong and for making this about so much more than clothes. Here’s to more of the same in 2018 !!

Through the years I’ve had and moved on MANY great Iron Heart items, I’ve never been a collector and consider my wardrobe as “fluid”. However, these days I find myself less eager to sell and very happy with the things I have, which are......

IHM-11 - Long deck coat
IHJ-24 - 17oz First Zip denim jacket
IHJ-05 - Cordura windbreaker
IHSH-72 - Green Buffalo check UHF
IHSH-75 - 12oz denim work shirt
IHSH-130GB - Grey/ Black Hombre UHF
IHSH-131BB - Blue/ Black Buffalo check UHF
IHSH-166 - Superblack CPO
IHSH-179 - Kanreki shirt
777-14OD - 14oz overdye
IH- MBB - 25oz HWDC2 Beatle Busters
PIH7ANN-R - 21oz unwashed
888-21 - 21 oz (currently out on tour)
888-NT - UHR DWC Jeans
IHSW-10 - Green hoodie
IHSW-23 - Black hooded pullover
IHT? - Very old plain black tee, before loopwheel
IHT? - Blue with yellow USMC style logo
IHT? - Yellow logo tee
IHT-NT - Namo Tako DWC tee

Really need to buy some duck trousers, a long sleeved tee and a mid weight flannel then i’ll feel complete (for a while).

Whilst looking back at pictures to share for an Iron Heart Facebook page (not the official page), I found a lot of fit pics of items which I no longer own, mostly that I wish I still did. So here’s a thread to look back on what you WERE wearing over the years. I’ll start us off  with a few  8)

Sustainability at Iron Heart / Retirement Home
« on: October 07, 2017, 11:41:12 am »
The retirement home is a thread for folks to post their past IH jeans, which may have fallen out of rotation, been beaten to death, or are just at the end of their useful life.

By nature of the Denim Championship contests my own wear is 48 month cyclical mostly, these first two are from the last 2 contests. Whilst they aren't anywhere near as destroyed as some of the contestants, these pairs are now firmly in the retirement home, still loved but barely ever seeing the light of day.

First up the original MBB (Mega Beatle Buster), made for the HWDC2 from Iron Hearts 25oz Denim. This denim has strong vertical fading properties, wears in like sweat pants and is ridiculously comfortable after the initial pain.

Next up is the Iron Heart DWC x UHR, made from from the 21/23 ultra heavy raw denim. Incredible fading properties in general, this denim is hairy with a beautiful blue hew when new and then fades with stark contrasts all the way through.

That's me done, let's see your former, heavily worn, favourites out in the daylight again.

World Tours / The 888 Fatboy Chocolate World Tour
« on: September 08, 2017, 05:25:56 pm »
A world tour for any "ruggedly" built men, like myself, to enjoy a pair of the new 888 cut in the signature 21oz denim. These are the sample pair, so they are not labelled or patched as 888's.

Normal WT rules apply, wear 'em for a month, share your day to day existence and your thoughts on the jeans, package them up and pass them on.

The only rule tweak I'm applying to this tour is that, as we're all fatties, I'm going to binsist that when the jeans move on that they go with your favourite chocolate (candy to you Yanks) bar.

Here's the jeans, measuring 36w by 34l,declare your interest below......

Can you please all let me know where you live so I can route plan 😎

Post in here your favourite items, which don't get the love they deserve.

I'll start with the PIH7ANN-RAW, 21oz raw slim cut. Anyone who missed out on this denim, and this cut has truly missed out. They fade very differently from the regular 21oz, and the cut is is a great mid rise, slim but not skinny, cut 8)
