Going, Going, Gone.... / FS: Geo's IH Summer Sale
« on: August 11, 2011, 11:58:15 am »
Ok forumettes, I've decided to give an opportunity to all you well proportioned types to get your grubby mitts on some wonderful IH stuff from my little stash

"But why Geo?" I hear you ask - well being as I am, I like the completeness of things - so I am going to make another donation to the MacMillan group who have been wonderfully supportive; and a great way to do it is for you lovely people to grab a piece and so get something in return for your donation.

I think that closes the circle quite nicely

So here's a few items to start

This is the "11" in XL

I bought from another forum member, think I've only worn it twice since - no washes during my stewardship - excellent condition. You all probably know it's extinct so . . .

Sizing is almost identical to the "32" here http://www.ironheart.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=108 which is also extinct and I will also consider selling - same price

$250 shipped in EU (+$10 for US) - 11 & 32 SOLD

This "37" is one of the pair I bought from the mighty G-Man. Size XL (all my westerns are XL . . . all my workshirts are L to avoid any confusion). Probably worn a good handful of times, washed once - pristine condition. I think this size has sold out.

Sizing details here: http://www.ironheart.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2&products_id=159 (There has been no noticable shrinkage)

$210 shipped in EU (+$10 for US) . . . Both now SOLD

Now this is NOT a T despite being described such . . . it is genuinely the most amazing fabric you might experience in a garment like this - super heavy, super comfy, super soft . . . and sadly super unloved. Dunno why I rarely wore this - I do love it . . . maybe just got caught up in a time of me wearing other gear - anyway point is perfect condition, no washes!

This is an XL - Sizing here: http://www.ironheart.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=4&products_id=150

$120 shipped in EU (+$10 for US)    SOLD

Brilliant quality long sleeve Ts - again, bought from G after Haraki released some to the UK, which I think sold out very quickly. Been washed a couple of times but in excellent condition (shitty pic - sorry). As ever size is XL

For better pics and sizing and shit go here: http://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=1031.0

$80 shipped in EU (+$10 for US) . . . the "1006" in black is also available - all as per the "1005"

To save (me) hassle - all payments by Paypal as gift please

If anyone is interested in multiple items, then obviously I'll consider discounting (and postage will be cheaper) BUT this is for charity and I think the prices are fair so pm me

So that's a start . . . hopefully we can can all do some good and get something good  :)

Also - have a look at the roll call  . . . http://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=22.msg88156#msg88156
Might be items of interest there for you - just pm me  . . . but please don't be offended if I say no

Going, Going, Gone.... / FS: VIBERG 245 Lace to Toe - Bullhide
« on: June 14, 2011, 01:48:47 pm »
Ok folks - here's a chance to get yourself a serious boot at a bargain price

Up for grabs is a pair of size 9UK VIBERG 245 Lace to Toe Boots, built from beautiful black bullhide leather (rough-out on the quarters) on a Vibram 2021 sole

These are in excellent condition - i would fairly grade them at 9/10 . . . there is a little bit of wear at the heel and toe of the sole but the tread is completely intact and lightly worn

You can see the overall condition from the pics and come complete with the original box

I will ship them anywhere for $400 (from $450) with speedy tracked postage and the usual little extras  ;)

the pics look like there is wear on the upper but they are pristine - this is just how the rough-out came up in photograph

Footwear / Palladium Footwear
« on: May 17, 2011, 07:23:26 pm »
Don't see anything around the forum for this brand - so here ya go . . .

Think i said elsewhere i've been wearing palladiums on and off for about thirty years - although to be honest only ever the 'pampa' or 'pallabrouse' styles . . . and then only the fabric/canvas versions

never really been a big fan of the other random styles, or of the leather finishes . . . just didn't seem to work very well with the sole

so anyway i was pleasantly surprised to see a Mister Freedom x Palladium collab . . . so here's mine

Going, Going, Gone.... / FS: Joe McCoy Lot 906 34W - Aid for Japan
« on: March 23, 2011, 01:15:48 pm »
There has been a lot of debate and discussion in the forum because of the ongoing tragedy that has affected Japan in the aftermath of the earthquakes and tsunami

I think it has been quite wonderful the support IH and the the forum has shown . . . through kind words, prayers and the all-important donations (t-shirts et al) to help those unfortunate victims.

Being impressed with the initiative shown by Arrow in selling books and magazines, and stealing another one of Giles' great ideas, I thought I would try something similar . . . so I would like to AUCTION my Joe McCoy Lot 906 denims.

I hope there are enough details and pics here (but feel free to PM me for any other info)

They retail at around $375, and this particular pair have been chainstiched on the Union Special to just over 32" (measured). They have been worn about 8 maybe 10 times and were hot soaked on the day of purchase.

What I'd like to do is start at $100 and hope to achieve something better.

Whatever the figure comes to (so long as there are no oil barons bidding  :-X) - I will treble  and donate to Red Cross Japan . . . just as Arrow is doing.

I will close the auction on in one weeks time - 30 March 2011 at 1200 UTC

Thank you all very kindly

How about we have an Iron Chef (Ryōri no Tetsujin) thread? There's been cooking pics scattered about the forum so post up pics of your culinary skills, throw in a recipe or two, some hints and tips - and we'll all be sizing up on the next IH purchase  ;)

Sorry I came up with this after my dinner . . .
