I just received my shirt last night and I looked at it and it finally dawned on me that the fabric is pique.  Not Pique like the guy that plays that terrible sport. but the fabric pique.  Excellent stuff.

@neph93 undeserved, but thank you none the less. I personally think wabash was born for work shirts, wabash and chambray are the very definition.

It would be a crying shame for this to go out of production. It is the IH item that I get the single most compliments about from those 'not in the know' (and those that are). I washed this during the week, but haven't ironed it yet so haven't checked the evo. Some pics may be warranted later today.

I wore my Wabash hard this past summer and fall and people would approach me and ask where I got the shirt.

Questions for anyone.
Is this fabric considered a "denim?"
Is it a duck fabric?
Will it fade?

I was there two years ago.  Get some fish sauce!

Gave my IHSH-75 a warm soak in the sea at Starfish Beach in North Phu Quoc today.

We have an issue with the current batch of IHSH-75, the buttonholes are failing.  We are recalling all that are left with retailers and have taken ours off the website.  We know the cause, but the fix is difficult and the issue only becomes apparent when the button hole fails  If we can't find a satisfactory resolution, we will not make any more work shirts out of the 12oz denim.....

About a month ago I had one of the top button holes repaired and I noticed three more in need of work but I'm ok with getting it repaired because it seems stronger than new.  What was the cause of the failures?

How did that happen?  I've been wearing mine and nothing like that has come close.

The top block is a bitch to stretch and break in so far.  It will take I suspect a good month of constant wear to get this fully broken in.
The indigo has begun to wear off on my hands and it's more than I thought would wear off with sanforized denim.

Did anybody get their pair of these yet? I am sincerely intrigued. Not my cut though. If these are even softer than regular 21 oz they would be insane.

@Giles any plan for these in a 1955 cut (so I could wear them as pajamas)?  :D

I received my pair on Friday and was a little worried about the fit at first because they were tight. They’re slowly giving up the tightness. As for the material, they’re lighter than the 19L which is dark. These jeans are a medium gray and have a sheen to them. It’s an illusion and just the weft coming through.

But how do they feel? Is the hand very soft? Do you have a pair of 21oz jeans to compare them to?

I don’t have another pair of 21oz jeans to compare them to from IH. However, I have a pair of 21 oz Samurai that is softer than these. The 21oz LHT are sanforized so they’re a little more slick and have a different feel than the 19L.

It’s an open ended question, I realize.

It's impossible to answer for anyone but you when you try them, but if you're used to around a 34" starting waist and can tackle the thighs, then you should be fine with a size down. Denim will stretch...

Thanks for your reply.  Oh, I stretch denim pretty well.

I picked up a pair. I’m a size 34 in basically everything from Iron Heart but I got a size 33. Do you think this is the correct size?  It’s an open ended question, I realize.

I’m thinking hard about it. I lost my grandfather’s St Christopher’s medal that I had in my car which was totaled in an accident (not my fault). I’m not Catholic but I get sentimental.

Is there much stretch in this material?  The medium seems a bit big for me.  What about shrinkage?  Any information would be a help.
Thanks!

The shell cordovan is very nice and breaks in well.  The rolls are consistent and the build is excellent.  Get a pair! @rio

White’s MP in shell cordovan color 8.
They’re rock solid.
