My question is, are the more complicated UHFs softer/downier compared to the less complex patterns like buffalo check? Just an observation from the shirts in my collection.

@Anesthetist, I’m not sure pattern has anything to do with it, my 156 burgundy and my purple 130 are very soft and as you know one is a plain weave and one is an ombré. My buffalo checks are definitely the thickest and heaviest of all of them and they become rather stiff for a bit after a wash but do soften in time but never get quite as soft as some of my others.

My newest UHF the green 311 is without a doubt the softest UHF I’ve had out of the bag unworn and unwashed. I think I read that you said your 309 what crazy soft. I’m guessing something changed with the brushing. It definitely feels different than the others.

Also @Clint_D, going through your sales thread brings a smile to my face.

Even though none of it will fit me, it’s wonderful to see all these gems from the past and in such great condition!

To whomever snagged the indigo 64, well played sir/ma’am. A dream shirt!

@Giles, thanks for the info. It’s always cool to see stuff like this and, like the 207 and the 237, maybe one day it will be a shirt..

“Holy shit dude”......those were the words that came out of my mouth when I pulled these out of the bag! Just blown away. I can see myself building a collection of these and the crew.

Thank you to @AdamC for additional sizing help and listening to my rambling, and thanks for the chocolates, sticker and the holiday greetings!

For the curious I went with XL on these, I’m 6’ , 200lbs, 44” chest and take XXL/XXXL in IH shirts and XL fits perfect! I can wear a tee underneath and wear as an outer layer, or under a UHF. I’m in love  ;D

Looking good @twin, I was ever so close to picking this one up, making me have regrets  :'(

Kinda on the topic of this pattern, did anyone else notice the pillow cover on IG that was this pattern but green? It was on one of that Japanese IG Ironheart pages, can’t recall which. Possible future UHF?

@jordanscollected, I was digging through the extinct items section and I believe it’s the IH-534, blanket lined 21oz indigo selvage denim  shooting jacket. Looks cool as shit!

Dudes, I love this flannel, always wanted one but as @mclaincausey said, there’s not many of them and I would need an XXL or XXXL so I’ve pretty much resigned myself to enjoying seeing others wearing it.

Hi @GandalftheGray7, on the order page for the particular shirt you’re looking at, in the details it will tell you whether a shirt can be “pimped” and with what type of snap or button (lightweight snaps, heavy duty snaps or various Good Art snaps and buttons) then you just add it to your order and voila, pimped!

A heads up to anyone looking for this. Was on Burg&Schild website this morning and they still show that they have an XXL in this shirt available.
