The same thought crossed my mind.  I'm not sure if the government shutdown has created any backlog with customs as well.  I'll be keeping my fingers crossed though.
Department of Homeland Security is affected by the shutdown, so Customs and Border Protection workers are either furloughed or working without pay.  In theory, cargo inspections and processing should continue as normal, but if if I was working without pay since before Christmas, I doubt I'd be giving it my best effort.

Here's hoping your stuff will appear eventually...

Huh.  Didn't expect such urban decay and blight.  Norway's a lot grimmer than I realized.

I liked her in The Man From UNCLE, which was also pointless and terrible.  She should probably stop doing reboots.

When you have a piece of furniture that comes in three boxes, it seems to me that the assembly instructions should be in box one, not at the bottom of box three.

Those Hermes moon phase and the UN Freak are the standouts, in my opinion.  And I agree that the aventine dial looks impressive, though the overall watch is a bit too much.

I'm thinking about getting a hair cut  ???
Do it. That would be badass.

Sigh. The fun people with hair can have.

I suppose I could do it on my back...

Exactly.  The waistband gets a lot of pressure, so it stretches a lot. The thighs, not so much of either.  Some people are more dedicated masochists than I, and will do squats and lunges and other activities to put pressure on the thighs and stretch them out.  It will work, especially with this denim, but it's not as easy as getting the waist to enlarge.

Avatar was an amazing movie from a technical perspective, but man, it's crap otherwise.  I wonder how terrible it is without the wow factor of 3D.

On a side note, that Avatar Flight Of Passage ride at Disney is f-ing phenomenal...

The only link I found talking about both twist and twill is here: http://blog.londasfiles.com/denim-facts/
It says z-twist with s-twill and s-twist with z-twill.
Interesting.  I've never seen twill direction labeled S or Z before, just left or right.  Seems like that adds an unnecessary layer of confusion, but then textiles/sewing/garment making seems almost perversely complicated and contradictory, so I guess that isn't surprising.

As for what type of yarn gets used for denim weaving most commonly thought the industry, well, that's beyond my meagre knowledge.  I suspect that it depends on manufacturer preferences, and that is basically a black hole of information.

Sleeves look kinda big on you, too.  Maybe you should've sized down on that one. :D

I live in Texas and wear 21 oz IH-634S jeans year round, even in the summer.  In Texas summers, they're far more comfortable than the 18 oz IH-634SII I'm wearing right now.

And if appfaff says try the 14 oz denim, then that's reputable advice...

Are you sure that manufacturers use yarns twisted in different directions for LHT and RHT?  Because that would make a difference- if the direction of the skew in the weave pulls in the same direction as the twist in the yarns (like RHT using Z twist yarns), it tightens them and makes for a "harder" fabric.  If the skew and the twist go in opposite directions, then the yarns tend to unravel (like LHT using Z twist yarns), which makes the fabric "softer".  But using S twist yarn in LHT denim is, as you point out, functionally equivalent to using Z twist yarn in RHT denim.
