Going, Going, Gone.... / IHSH-33-Indigo, Large, (22.0" Chest)
« on: August 26, 2019, 05:11:00 pm »
I'm selling this as it's borderline neat on me, so I'm going to upsize.  It's in excellent condition, washed yesterday. £120 delivered to the UK, £130 ROTW.

Chest - 22.0"
Shoulders - 18.25"
Back - 28.75"
Sleeve - 25.0"

@Vintage, I bought the laces when I was told the boots were incoming.  They're 140cm.   3 pairs come with the boots - black/yellow nylon, black nylon and black leather, so a.good choice.

Lovely stuff @wdw. Just got some Boss in black roughout and it is great. Luxurious and rugged at the same time...

Agreed, @neph93.  If I ever get another pair of Boss, they'd definitely be black roughout.  Yours look great.

I'm happy to say these are all I hoped for.  My fourth pair of Wesco's, so I know build quality is top notch.  I was a bit concerned about the width, as there was conflicting information about the last, but I went with my normal D and all is good.  If on the fence, just get a pair.  You won't regret it.  Even my wife is impressed. :)

Looks like a great meet with fantastic weather as a bonus.  Great pics.

Lovely stuff @wdw . Is this recent?

Two days ago, above Geiranger.  Here's one today going up Kattenakken at Briksdal glacier.  So hot now we're hiding out of the sun at our cabin.

A rather pleasant day in Norway... :)

Interesting Type 3.  When might that appear?

Also, maybe a stupid question, but would indigo cord fade?

I blasted my 62-ind at 90deg once and got some acceptable shrinkage, mostly on the sleeves.  Having said that, I probably wouldn't recommend it unless you have room to spare and the material is as tough as the 62 is.

Interesting.  @Alex , what's the weight of these?

Very smart indeed, @neph93, and such lovely national dress.  I always liked that when I worked there, seeing the locals put on a great display.

Thanks, @Chris at Wesco.  Very helpful.

Are both of the off the shelfs you have with a round toe and three lifts in the heel?

Yes, standard heel, round toe.  I also have 11D Boss with Harness toe which turned out a bit too narrow.

@Chris at Wesco, I'll go straight to the horse's mouth, if you don't mind.  I'm very happy in off the shelf Boss and Jobmaster in 11D.  I initially went 11E in these Rough-outs, then was advised 11D, so changed.  The last thing I want is a tight fit, so would you recommend 11E now?

Having said that, IH have kindly said that exchanging between widths after purchase doesn't cost anything, so I'm not too concerned, as it'll be all right one way or another.
