After lusting after @Oaktavia's jeans for months, I finally pulled the trigger on these. Thanks to @Graham for helping me and putting up with my incessant questions.

Cool dude, stoked to see your fade photos as time goes on. I'm nearing my one year mark on mine to give a frame of reference. Wore them 2-3 times a week every week minus June-August months.

It suits you way better then me, @Oaktavia . I'm happy it arrived safe and soud, after it took so long.

Thanks again dude. So happy they arrived. Lesson learned: don't order from overseas right before the holidays lol.

It would border on ridiculous trying to get it on first time round, even more of a b*stard to photograph too! Rigid is an understatement.

I'd be up for the challenge   :-X Indigo × Indigo XHS Type II...a dude can dream.

Making a jacket out of 25oz is super tough. Sewing the sleeves in particular IIRC. A UHR Type III would be crazy. Can't imagine how tough it'd be first wear!

I would frickin' love a type II or III of either XHS or UHR. Maybe one day the denim demons will reveal their secrets...

Thumbs up for super cool thread bump. I have a pair of these myself that are too big for me now, but fortunately scored the IH-888-UHR when they arrived. Wonderful denim, verging on legendary, and look good on you sir.

Thanks man  :D I finally feel that I have completed my wardrobe. Really looking forward to the evo.

Sucks about your pair, did you end up selling them here? At least you were able to replace them with another pair of UHR. You were totally right about the fabric. It's unreal. Has IH ever made a UHR jacket?

Bought these second hand from @Cole. They fit like a glove. It's a nice change from my 555XHSib cut. I dig them both but these are more comfortable. Super to happy to fade these to white and put my mark on them. Second pair of IH denim jeans.

Wearing with IHSH-140 12oz western CPO
101J Rider's Jacket 18oz
Naked and Famous Elephant 8 Jacket
Redwing Iron Ranger 8111

Once you go 25oz there no turning back.. the Most Unexceptional denim created.

Post machine wash

@Oaktavia @neph93 Thanks neph, i'm loving the process. I would be all over these in a 777. hopefully they decide to make a 25oz 777 in either a double indigo or indigo x black.. fingers crossed anyway. cheers!

I would love to fade a double indigo XHS.

@Oaktavia @alexswords both of you are doing great work. These two pairs have the makings of legendary jeans...

I'll be making a point of wearing them more often now and hope to have something interesting to contribute on that thread.

Definitely a goal to get some of that sweet honeycomb development you guys have got, as well as seeing more of the white coming through.

Heck yeah buddy! I just flipped my pair right-side-out this morning after the machine wash. I put them on when they were still a bit damp. Man, they need to stretch back out! Haha...nothing some lunges and squats can't help.

I'll update with post wash photos this afternoon. Even in my dimly lit room, I noticed more white areas have popped out after the machine wash. They feel super crispy!

My next pair of XHS will be a different cut. I dig the 555, but I would like some more wiggle room. Especially in the summer months. I've been eyeing the 666 or 634...that'll be a project for next winter.

Here are my pair before a machine wash. Third wash but first with a machine.

Here is my jacket I've been wearing nearly daily since late August. Photos were taken right before I threw it in the washing machine. I will update more after it dries.
