I hate Bayern München with a passion, so when they lose I'm always happy. They are currently down 5:0 after 60 minutes in the German Cup. Even better: my team, Borussia Mönchengladbach, are tearing them to pieces. I love it!

Totally irrelevant bonus sock shot

Are sock shots ever irrelevant though? Of course, if they are wool you’d be on to a wooly Wednesday winner.

I'm afraid they're a cotton blend. Wasted opportunity! If no one else uses this as a cue I'll be really disappointed

Spends approx €100m on players in his first season and still says he hasn't got a squad good enough  :D
He’s a first class muppet.

100% agree. I will say this, however: getting rid of a bad manager isn't that difficult. Getting rid of terrible owners - almost impossible. And if you do: be careful what you wish for, you might end up with even worse owners, albeit for different reasons. Exhibit A: Newcastle United. I feel extremely conflicted about my favourite club right now...

I was wondering if anyone would get that news. The short answer to your question is a resounding yes.

I mentioned the result to a friend of mine from Rome, who is a massive Roma fan. His response was "what do you expect, we can't cope with the cold."

It's a good thing I need to be awake for work in four and a half hours 😞

Cos the song is inspired by Mike Ness' apartment as far as I know:

What are y'alls thoughts on choosing Good Art for wedding rings? My fiancée are tossing the idea around. We are on the lower side of money to spend but each of us saw a couple we liked. Has anyone here done this and if so which model did you choose?

Totally unrelated to Good Art, but something I learned when picking my wedding band: try it first to see what colour suits you best. Before we went to the goldsmith I was 1000% certain that I would get a ring in white gold. Tried it and the colour looked absolutely terrible on me. So yellow gold it is.

And I totally second what @sabergirl said about wearing the ring everyday

I think setting an alarm and having card details preloaded is a good idea for any UHF. I suspect in this case some sizes will sell out in minutes.

You could risk showing her. I show my wife the UHF’s as there is always a few she really loves. If that cross checks with one I want then I’ll pick it up. Her liking it makes the confession that much more likely to go smoothly

Wise words, and I can confirm that it works. I was looking for a pair of shoes once together with my wife and ended up buying the most expensive pair I tried. And she had to admit that they were the best-looking. Plus I take care of my stuff so it lasts forever

thanks @neph93 and @Fadez , fingers crossed I can actually get hold of one. The purple flew off the shelf in no time. Then I just have to sneak it past the missus...

UHF novice question here: would you recommend sizing similar to a non-UHF shirt I already own or is it advisable to look for measurements slightly bigger? Thanks and apologies if this has been answered elsewhere. I was actually hoping to try both UHF (and XHS) in person in Gosport round about this time but the nonsensical Covid-related entry rules put paid to that.
