Because this place is a community, it's only right to run this as a community-driven project. We want your feedback, good and bad, on the forum in it's current guise, and your suggestions on what new features would make this place better both for you guys, but also more appealing to bring new people into the fold.

And not to blow smoke, but I'm pleasantly surprised, time and time again, at how well Iron Heart gets customer service.  You guys could've just rolled out some change and ignored the complaints until the people either accepted them or moved on.  Instead, you're asking for suggestions and being open about the process.  Kudos, IHUK!  Kudos!

Oooh, I have some ideas!

I am always annoyed with Tapatalk's tagging-people incompatability (with web) but it does a couple of things really well that I miss when I'm using a computer.

One of the things that I love about Tapatalk is that I can very quickly scan through the timeline.  That is, I can see all posts across all threads in chronological order.  I know that this feature exists on the current forums, but it took me like 7 years to find LOL.  Making its placement more obvious would be handy to people who want to catch up with the day's posts, especially for new members.

Another of my favorite Tapatalk features lets me subscribe to folders or threads and quickly see any posts just to those.  Call them favorites or something similar.  Going along with my previous suggestion, it would make it easy for people to catch up with their favorite topics.

Heya @hajduk , I'll take that yellow IHSH-138 if it's still available, assuming you don't mind shipping to the States again :)

Price drop bump!

Great vest, @Kfactor !

Thanks @henry_david the 888xhs was a bit tricky to size. Much thanks to @Paul9221 for turning me to the pant stretcher to aid in the break in process and give me a little room.

Heya Jeff!  Are you still using the stretcher or do you think that you got max stretch out of them?  The waist looks perfect in your picture, doesn't look tight at all.  Are they pretty comfortable throughout the day, now?

don't care for sashiko myself

I think the fabric looks and feels great but I've never seen it on anything heavy.  I once picked up a PBJ sashiko type III but returned it because IH has totally spoiled me when it comes to type III heft expectations :D  I can see how sashiko might not line up with the IH brand but I still think it could be an awesome fabric for a western or work shirt.

Thanks for the explanation, Reuben!

On another topic, I believe that it's been mentioned before (it must have), but I would love to see an IH fleece-lined hoodie.  I have a cheapie one that gets a ton of use when the temperature dips.

Sashiko has been popular with other brands lately.  Does H not care for it?  Or is it too expensive to produce, not hold up well, etc.?

Agreed that it's hard to tell with that lighting. Depends on how tight you like your jeans, too.  My are-the-knees-too-tight test involves riding a bike.  If you can ride a bike in them, they're not too tight.

Those look good!

I have to admit that I've purchased quite a few things off IG ads, and so far, everything has been pretty great.

I love my 14oz OD and have never gone past 21oz

Oh man, you really need to try some 25oz!
