RE: Wax Treasure (Vinyl)
@spleef_oner Purely based on album cover art, I just put this on (digitally) and dig it. Thanks for sharing.

RE: Wax Treasure (Vinyl)
@GraemeE said in Wax Treasure (Vinyl):
the idea of a big project putting covers on all of them at once sounds super satisfying
Glad to know I’m not the only one around here who is willing to make sacrifices for uniformity and longevity

RE: Wax Treasure (Vinyl)
Yall got me hooked on these obis so now I’ve broken down and bought plastic outer sleeves to protect the record cases. Not doing a big project at once but just slipping them on as I listen. Next, the records will be sleeping in my bed while I stay out here in the music room using my jeans as a pillow. “Sick pillow fades bruh ”

RE: World-Class Customer Service
IHUK customer service is indeed the best. Thank you stubborn crew for all you do for us!!
I've been lucky enough to make it to most of the US IH retailers. My favorites from a customer service / quality of interaction standpoint would be (in no particular order): James Dant (store is huge compared to the rest and also was his senior thesis as a business major in college, only job he's ever had, very cool), Franklin & Poe (unpretentious laid back philly spot), Snake Oil Provisions (can't imagine running a store with my spouse, so cool they pull it off; and maybe you'll catch a little of Ollie's accent if you're lucky), and most recently Guilty Party (Atlanta needed them badly).
I've also had great online experiences with Corlection (interesting selection of items US retailers don't carry), Redcast Heritage (fast shipping, great prices, seem like a nice couple, appreciate what they are doing on the content side), and The Shop Vancouver (definitely best leather selection in the business and probably best social media personality; can't imagine running a shop as a 1 man show).

RE: Random questions to which you seek an answer
@Heavy_blue I assume you already know about the ih 1600 and merz 2s14 and consider those too heavy. If that's the case, I agree with @T4920 that TFH 9oz are a great "mid to heavy" option. Another in that category, albeit slightly lighter with a more conventional tshirt feel, but still super luxe, is the unique garment 7 oz airy t. Every time that one finishes drying, I seem to wear it within a day or two. It's always either on my body or in the hamper or drying. A good sign, I think.
Also agree with @Mizmazzle that warehouse 4601 slub/shadow is amazing and gets better with time (as horizontal texture materializes). However, these are totally different from the ts discussed above. Almost like comparing slubby denim to 21 oz. Those above are smooth and sleek. This thing is full of texture and lush.
If you're ok with the t not being loopwheeled, the new heavy weight samurai workwear ts with the logo on the pocket are quite nice too and similar weight range as THF 9oz and UG airy 7oz.

RE: IHJ-128-BLK - Japanese Horsehide Double Motorcycle Jacket - Black
How does the veg tan leather on this one compare to the chrome tan leather on the ihj 35/54?
