My 888-NT shrank 1.5" in length, from 35.5" to 34.0", after a cold soak and five - yes 5 - washes in the first month. A couple of years ago I had a pair of 1955-UHR and they lost 2.25" after a cold soak and 1 wash. 2" shrink in length seems to be the standard. I was looking for a 33" inseam, and advised by IHUK to err on the side of more shrink and get them hemmed to 35.5".
They didn't shrink as much as I anticipated, and with higher rise they are longer than I anticipated (I wear these lower on my hips than higher at my waist, just because that's where they end up). I cuff occasionally, and usually walk around with excessive stacks. I'd rather have them too long than too short, but I really need to get them hemmed shorter.
