Thanks @Giles

Perhaps, I should have been a bit more specific. Will wearing the UHR in a hot and humid climate (like that of India) lead to problems down there?

Yes. But there are products that can mitigate the issue.   Sounds funny but works GREAT!

Isn't it a guardian bell? They protect your bike from demons or evil spirits.
Here's our version....

I've found some good ol fashioned Clubman talc powder works great too.  Always loved the smell of that stuff.

I'd rather have sweaty balls. Which is probably why I live where I do. If I ever complain about the cold on here again, please remind me "at least you don't have sweaty balls".

So what do I do about this? Not really a crotch blowout and darning isn't required. The threads have deteriorated/disappeared. Not quite a blowout but definitely needs attention. Recommendations on a fix and "IMG_0223.JPG""IMG_0224.JPG" a place to send them to would be appreciated

I'd sew that up myself, it's relatively minor.

I'd do it by hand, even though I've got machines that could handle it.  For smallish repairs like that I usually just settle onto the couch, turn on the tv to something mindless and sew until it's done.  Or until I get tired of working on it, whichever happens first.
