If you knew how many pairs I sold and bought in 2009 (only to keep a couple I was 100 % satisfied with), you'd think I was crazy. EASILY 15-20 pairs... I bought about 5 pairs of Sams alone, just to give you an idea...  :-\

Wow, that's a high turnover. Costly learning fee for the trial and error there. Like Shuba, I wouldn't go through that myself.

On the Evo site, the 634SR get worn every day these days. Seeing a little more color come off but not enough difference yet to post evo pics. Sorry.

thanks shuba, these shit gets better after each wash, I'm thinking of washing them weekly/bi-weekly

btw my cat used my 634s as its bed when he's like 1 month old, and started to gain fetish towards IH afterwards

drz -- really ? I thought the holy grail was  to not wash often ! I've only washed my 634S about 3 times. But I agree, seems that after a wash -- the jeans look even more "evolved".

Machine washing your jeans wears them out a lot more than not washing them... Evo goes faster, but the 'life expectancy' of your jeans is shortened as well.

I don't really give the jeans special treatment regarding washing frequency, just trying to wear them hard and wash them when i'd like to. And if they turn out to be holy-grail material then I'm thinking it as a bonus of wearing an already great jeans in the first place ;)

I have a pair of Imperials with a vintage finish after washing them weekly for a year. It all depends on what you want. If you want a high contrast fade, then never wash them. If you want a vintage fade, wash them more frequently

I personally don't care enough to do one or another. If they're feeling grody, I'm washing them. That being said, I hand wash, not machine wash.

I'll probably wash my SEXIH07 this weekend, which I'm sure people will be gasping about.

Oh, and I've washed my 634SR's pretty much weekly at this point, the color is holding up well, but they're not standing on their own anymore

Machinewashed them last week. It took 2 machinewashes for me to finally be convinced they're ready to be worn hard...
