Oh yes If and when I replace my Smokejumpers then something along those lines will fit the bill.

Oh you're right, it is necessary for large parts of the year also the #430 mini-lug does ok too.

I really should take pics to show you, but it will have to wait. I have a pair of black rough out boss on the #100, a pair of black oil tan MP toe Boss on the #430 mini-lug, olive Morrisons on the #430 mini-lug, and two pairs of MP Boss on the #705 in rough out burlap and brown domain. The new pair will be a secret until they arrive.

The idea (apart from collecting beautiful boots), is to have pairs for exclusively for summer, exclusively for winter, and a couple of all year round pairs. Some are shit kickers/beaters, some are for when I want to play dress up  :D

@goosehd double mids and #100  :P Be still my beating heart  :-* :-* :-* Mind you @Giles burlap roughouts give me the horn too.

Dennis, how do you find the double mids in icy conditons? Have you been able to compare with #100 on single mids?

IHTB-BRDOLV: My single Wesco pair, jobmaster in olive burlap and brown domain. Scarred and dusty from corral duty. Burlap is a supremely soft & pliable leather, perfect for a comfortable upper.

@neph93 Double mids, 100’s, and fully lined  :) are awesome to keep your feet warm in the winter.  They are stiff with a long break in.  Fantastic when they are.

I too have summer boots (single, unlined), and winter boots.  Singles are great feel under foot, but don’t keep my feet warm when it’s -20.  Double’s lose the sensitivity walking on ice/snow but the warmth is worth it.

I've always been very jealous of all you Wesco owners so I have finally placed my first order.

8" Packer
British Tan Domain, brown stitching, black eyelets no speed hooks.
Double white outsole stitching
Do not ink soles and heels
#700 Sole

After agonising over Jobmasters, Johannes' and Hendrik's that we have in stock, I finally had the opportunity to try one of the upcoming Blackways Packers and boom, perfect fit and the western toe is totally for me. They can't come soon enough!
