Hoodies reccomendations

Website wont allow me to start new topic in the correct section that this thread should actually be in. ( cut and sown I believe )
So I just have to start it here instead and it can get moved or deleted I guess.
I'm looking for high quality durable hoodie similar to the flint and tinder 10 year pull over, but that is available to buy in the EU.
The flint and tinder seems to only be available in the USA and seems out of stock there even.
I know IH or some other Japan brands probably make plenty but I'm looking for under $150 really.
Any ideas very welcome cheers

Reigning Champ or Wings + Horns through Grailed, perhaps?.. Or eBay?.. Just my first idea…
(But don't buy that one cause I actually want it )

Cut and Sewn is a thread dedicated to IH Cut and Sewn items. The Other Brands and Shops thread is where you might have wanted to start this.

Both brands are long and slim. Not a huge fan of either but, you get pretty good value from Reigning Champ.

I like Reigning Champ hoodies and crew necks. Their tiger fleece is amazingly warm

I will echo what pthers said about Reiging champ. Good stuff!!
Another option to consider is 3sixteen. I picked one up 2 years ago and really enjoy it
Hope that helps

I was actually just recommending Reigning Champ to a friend last night! But yeah, RC runs slim. It's a great hoodie if you're on the slim side and want to show it off, even while in a sweater. Great quality. I own 4 of their medium weight Terry hoodies.
American Giant makes some pretty durable and cost effective hoodies. They don't look as nice as the RC brands, something about the fabric just seems dull. I own a few of their classic zips.
I think the 3Sixteen option in either grey or oatmeal will be perfect for you. They're thick and not too slim and in that $150 price range. I own the grey one but don't wear it much since I picked up the Strike Gold loopwheel.

Thanks guys, I will look into these. Seems to be some recurring mentions to mull over, cheers

@scooter speaks the truth. The threads like Cut & Sewn are on the IH Products board an as such are reserved for IH products so only mods and admins can start threads there.
I had a F&T 10 year hoodie from their original Kickstarter project. It was through actually that purchase that got me onto the idea of sustainable clothing. Then I found Hiut Denim and then ended up here.
To be honest, I'd pay the extra 50-100 USD and move up a notch to IH, Real McCoy, Buzz Rickson. I gave my F&T hoodie away a couple of years ago as it just didn't´t compare to the kind of stuff I'd become used to.

Oh, and Reigning Champ stuff can always be had on sale. I own 3 of their crew necks and 2 terry hoodies and didn’t pay full price for any of them. Not saying they’re not worth full price but tons of vendors carry RC so they’re everywhere.

I don’t own one (still rocking my free gym hoodies), but Flint ‘n Tinder has a “decade” hoodie that is warranted for 10 years, which is pretty crazy. That’s probably where I’ll look once my freebies are exhausted. [edit: now that I actually read the replies this has been mentioned]

How about Merz?
Maybe a little bit more than you want to spend though.

What size hoody are you in RC? I'm about to pick one up but I don't know if I should go L or XL. I'm an XL in IH westerns.
Edit: I'm also a Large in American Giant hoodies if that helps.

I'm a large in RC hoodies and crewnecks – i'm 5'11, 175lbs, 40" chest. I think RC tops fit me perfectly. Not too baggy and not too slim imo.

Thanks. Yeah I've got a few RC T shirts and I think they are Larges but I'll have to double check.

I went with a medium in RC, and a medium in AG. I like a slimmer fit and though I can zip up the RC medium, I rarely do, at least not all of the way. Here are some pics (excuse my giant noggin…it is huge but the camera angle makes it look even bigger):

See, I'm 5'10", 175lbs, 40" chest and I like the slimmer look of the medium RC. But, again, I usually don't zip them up all of the way.
Have any of you tried the heavier weight RC hoodies? I only own hoodies with this medium weight fabric.

Thanks @Paul9221 ! Pics and everything, very helpful.
Have you guys noticed much shrinkage after a wash on the RC hoodies or are they pre shrunk pretty well?
