Not sure how many of you vape. But, I got the Iron Heart of vaping devices. It's solid stainless and copper. It's so awesome. There's only 3 parts to the mod part.  It's a Kennedy Vapor 20700 Vindicator with their 25mm RDA. Comes with my highest recommendation.

I only vape when I smoke weed. The company I use it called Dossit. It's alright. Can that be used for things other than nicotine? Also, I live in California so this is all perfectly legal for me. So don't call the cops.

Been vaping for eight years, but not much into mechs anymore. My last mech was a Great Lakes Vapor and that lasted five-ish years. Ran dual 16340s. Old school.


My favorite at home setup is the Steamcrave Titan on top of the Steamcrave PWM. Dual coil 4mm 26ga Kanthal, 6 wraps. I set up a quad coil yesterday but the airflow sucked.


My on the go vape is a Dovpo Topside with an Asmodus Bunker, single 4mm 26ga SS, 6 wraps.


Started wicking with rayon, pretty happy with that once I got it dialed in.


I have a bunch of other mods I use too. Don't use fancy coils though, I only vape thick, sweet juices and they gunk up too fast.


I keep it pretty simple.


If I were to go high end I'd probably get a 3D printed box mod. I already carry too much shit on me, trying to stay lightweight.


Edit: Correction, my last mech was from Super T Manufacturing, I think it ran an 18650. They went under years ago, which is a shame, they were really one of the first to come out with mechs that were REALLY well machined and made in the US.

It’s a big motherfucker. Tank can be a dripper, 18ml tank or 28ml extended tank. Mod is a paraseries quad 18650.

Do you have any other mods/RBAs?


I have a bunch, couple from Squid Industries, I think I have three or four Dovpo Topsides.


Atomizers I have a mixture of Chinese made RDAs/RTAs. Couple of sub ohm tanks I almost never use.


I'm more into the vape itself than I am into build quality, so never got into the higher end stuff, although the Purge Side Piece is pretty tempting.


Nothing against mechs, I just prefer to have a high level of control over the power. My ideal setup would be a triple coil 30mm RDA on top of a triple or quad battery PWM, but haven't found anything like that yet. Saw a couple triple coil RDAs but they're a nightmare to wick or they run verts, which aren't my favorite. Oumier VLS is probably the only exception to that.

I have many tanks. My favorite is the Geekvape Zeus single coil with top airflow. I like this one because it doesn't leak. Also a Wotofo Sapor is about the same. But the Zeus performs better.

I have a mesh rta made by Geekvape Digiflavor but I have yet to get it working. Dry hit city.

I have had many mods. Most of them end up getting wet at work and quit working. My favorite is the Geekvape Aegis Legend because it is extremely durable and completely waterproof. I have some kind of Geekvape box mod with resin on the sides. I can't remember what it called. I ended up just using the Aegis because it is more comfortable in the hand.

@DougNg yeah you're right. Having wattage controls and stuff is nice. But I got the Kennedy just because it is simple and pretty. I have been trying many different coil builds in it over the past couple days. And the only build I got that will produce a satisfying vape is running some 26ga kanthal in parallel 7 wraps. 6 would probably perform better. But the wire is so stiff that it is hard to fit in the posts and align over the airflow.

I have some Nichrome80 wire on the way that is sure to knock my socks off.

When I get some more time I would love to talk about juices. But this going to be a lengthy discussion.

Thanks for the tip on the Zeus. Been looking for a single coil top airflow. Been pretty happy with my dead rabbit rta though.

I avoid nickel coils because both my parents have nickel allergies and I don’t want to develop the same.

Here’s a random trick I learned with velocity style decks. Go down one size on your jig when you’re fitting. The slop when you’re tightening makes it a lot easier. You can go up one size when you’re coiling as an alternative. If the coil is tight on your jig when your fitting it to the airflow it’s a lot tighter.

The Zeus is the most easy to use tank and is truly leak proof. I own both the double and single. But you get a more satisfying vapor out of the single. Plus the battery life is slightly better. I have a few extra ones I can send you of you would like to try it out. I can send it for free.

I don't do much with juices, I find a flavor I like and I vape the ever loving shit out of it. I think I went through two liters of Skwezed Mango. Switching to Skwezed Lychee for a bit. Got a case of vapers tongue.


Been thinking about doing DIY juices, but haven't gone there yet.

Have you tried the Steamcrave Aromamizer line? The build quality is pretty phenomenal, and it's also pretty hard to make leak because of the juice flow system. I have both the postless deck and the single coil deck. Side airflow but I've jumpstarted my coil in the morning by dripping into it and I've never been able to make it leak.


You can set it up for dripper, 5ml and 8ml configurations, but I've found with Steamcrave if you use their super tall setups you get a reduction in flavor and warmth.


Have you tried your Kennedy dripper on a regulated mod? What's it ohming out at? about 0.6?

No I have not tried the steamcrave line.

I make my own juice, and I prefer tobacco flavors. My favorite premade juice is Lunar Rover GLD. But it seems like they changed it somewhat and now it is sweeter.

I build  the Kennedy on my Aegis and I think the Kanthal build I did last night was .14. I would have to double check that though. The quad core fused Clapton build in the OT is a .06 and it crackles like a crack pipe.
