IH-666S-21L - 21oz Left Hand Twill Selvedge Denim Slim Straight Cut Jeans - Indigo
Our slim straight jean with a low/medium rise, in a 21oz left hand twill indigo selvedge denim. Our regular, right hand twill 21oz denim is famed for its softness, however our left hand twills are usually less soft due to additional tension in the weaving process. As more weft is seen on the face of the fabric, this denim has great potential for high contrast fades.
Available 16.00 (GMT) Tuesday 5th February

Leg twist?
-
The direction of the twill DOES have a bearing on which direction the legs will twist, but being left hand twill has no bearing on whether the denim will twist or not.
The 2 factors that minimise leg twist in any denim are sanforisation and skewing. This denim is sanforised and has been skewed, so there should not be a great deal of twist, but you never know…...

I picked up a pair. I’m a size 34 in basically everything from Iron Heart but I got a size 33. Do you think this is the correct size? It’s an open ended question, I realize.

These measurements look really good for me for a 666 cut. Tempted.

It's impossible to answer for anyone but you when you try them, but if you're used to around a 34" starting waist and can tackle the thighs, then you should be fine with a size down. Denim will stretch…
Thanks for your reply. Oh, I stretch denim pretty well.

How did I not hear about this!? Jeez Louise

Did anybody get their pair of these yet? I am sincerely intrigued. Not my cut though. If these are even softer than regular 21 oz they would be insane.
@Giles any plan for these in a 1955 cut (so I could wear them as pajamas)?
-
OMG. I’m seriously contemplating starting a gofundme for my poor ass so I can buy a pair of these awesome releases before they disappear due to me being a broke teacher paying out my ass to survive in NYC. #frustrating

I received my pair on Friday and was a little worried about the fit at first because they were tight. They’re slowly giving up the tightness. As for the material, they’re lighter than the 19L which is dark. These jeans are a medium gray and have a sheen to them. It’s an illusion and just the weft coming through.

But how do they feel? Is the hand very soft? Do you have a pair of 21oz jeans to compare them to?
