21oz Waist Stretch Advice Needed
« on: September 07, 2019, 07:55:41 pm »
Heya fine forum folks!  I could use some of your sage advice.

I picked up a lovely pair of 888s-SB with a waist line a little narrower than usual.  After about a week's worth of wear, I've taken the waistline from 30.5" to 31.8" and they're practically perfect.  Unfortunately, they don't seem to be stretching any more in the waist from normal wear.  I'd love it if I could get another like 0.25" of stretch out of these.  I'm sure I'm already pushing my luck on the waistline but if any of you have any advice on how I could get just a little more waist stretch, I'd love to hear it.

Thanks a bunch!

This is N&F 32 oz to be waist streched:

Made waist some wet then
I fixed the button and then tried to expand by an vice. Waist measure came from 16.2 to almost 17, but after dry it came back to 16.3 inch single waist. I think I could soak it with icecold water and only short time...
Hirschleder is auch nich schlecht.

Or @Paul9221

You are filling some weights in waistband and waiting for a long time.

@Eisenherz That's quite the setup!  If I do stretch these out a little more, I'll make sure to air dry after a soak.  I'm pretty sure that if I can get them to stretch a little more once, I'll be able to get them back there after some use.

LOL!  That looks like some sort of trap you'd set up for burglars! :D  But hey, if it works!  Have you had success with that?

I think I'm going to try one of these waist stretchers first, but if that doesn't work, I'm going to set something up like that.  I don't have weights around the house anymore but I'm pretty sure I can find something heavy, maybe fill a bucket with water and hang it from the waistline somehow.

Yeah, I need to make sure that button doesn't pop off.  How exactly does the washer protect the button?

The pressure area will be enlarged than only by nut. With 2 wrenches fix it quite firmly.
The waist strecher is an really cool apparatus.  ;)

Relax, the best and easiest way to get that small extra stretch that you are looking for is to wear them for another couple of weeks and you are sure to get there and the best thing about this is that it will be your own natural fit. In my humble opinion and personal experience.

Thanks, man.  I had them on today all day and managed to squeeze another 0.2" of stretch!  I did order the waist stretcher but I may just stick to the natural method.  They're just a tad tight in the waist when sitting, especially after eating.  Standing up, they're grand!
