Does not get my vote,  I think it would get greasy after a few wears, necessitating early wash or looking like a hobo.  Sorry.

I suspect it is just the way the pile has settled in transit.  As @Wlemon says, it should settle down with a wear or two...

Thanks for the info.  I've worn the shirt about 10 times and the white marks have disappeared.

Does anyone have any experience washing this one yet?  What's the danger of getting the dreaded white lines from washing or spinning it in a machine?

A hand wash seems like a safe bet. Moleskin strikes me as the type of fabric that would attract lint in a washing machine.

Used mine for our Christmas cards this year. That marks the second year I've used a molesk"0034.jpg""0033.jpg""0043.jpg"in from Iron Heart. Gotta get the black one for next year.
