I wonder if it would be possible to wear UHF under this. I feel like the "Woddy" would look amazing.

i'm sure you could, but then you'd look like this guy

That's a strong winter look

Check the measurements. CPO’s are cut with less taper in the waist precisely to facilitate layering. They can totally be used as a jacket.
If your UHF’s are fitted then I see no reason why you can’t try. You could even check the next size up. I used an XXL IHSH-76 over a JC II for a while.

Although layering shouldn't cause a problem in the body, I imagine it would be difficult to get the CPO sleeve over the UHF sleeve, especially at the cuff.
I can layer my IHW-01 over a thin flannel of the same size without a problem. The mid-weight flannels can be layered with difficulty, with the difficulty occurring in the arms.

I suffer from precisely the same affliction!
On the plus side, when I do get something new and blue, nine times out of ten the Mrs doesn’t realise! [emoji869]

I have the tan one. Tomorrow, I'll see if it's possible to fit a UHF or any IH shirt underneath. I'd do it now but my closet is in my nine-month old's room. If I wake her, I am dead.

But it’s Moleskin. That trumps Blue.
I should pass on this one because I have too many blue shirts but this is such a beauty.

Does this material stretch or shrink?
-
@jat I have last year's model, and, assuming its the same fabric, you shouldn't get any shrinkage from a cold wash. I have also not found the material very "giveable," too. If you're hoping it will stretch like denim, it won't, unfortunately. It has a wonderful, almost velvet-like feel to it, though.

To the previous discussion, here's a UHF under last year's model.
