Christmas Wishlist 2019
-
Christmas… great food, time with the family, traditions. And rampant consumerism. What's not to love?
If you're anything like me then Christmas may be an excuse to slip a wishlist to your best beloved, rich uncle, or doting parents, with some expensive goodies on it (possibly even some IH). Maybe you plan on buying yourself a present.... cheeky bugger.
So what is on your wishlist to Santa, IH or otherwise? Of course, after the big day you can update here with pictures and tell us what you actually got. As a example of how that works, I suggested that some luxury liquorice, single malt, or an IH gift voucher may be a suitable fathers day gift (after all I am father to a lot of kids). What I got was slippers... ::)
Mine:
1. GAH Jimmy Cross
2. New belt
3. Hamilton Mechanical Field Watch
4. IHSH-234-CAM -
Easy.

Rest for my family, before we start a busy Spring.

3. Roasted Haunch Venison for Christmas Lunch. -
1. S-Works Venge w/ Enve 5.6 wheels.
2. Himel Avro D Pocket jacket.
3. Copious amounts of my mom's homemade cinnamon rolls.
4. No talking about politics w/ family.
5. GoodArt church key and/or box opener.I was able to snag all the IH I wanted this season so Christmas has already come a few times.

1. IHM-31 whipcord peacoat. This won't happen but it's sooooo cool looking.
2. Stevenson Overall Unionist denim shirt. The only downside to this is it has a throat latch which is a minor detail that I dislike. Other than that, it's nice shirt.
3. Wesco Jobmasters (like the ones from Division Road)
4. IHSH-220 IYE. Still waffling on if I want this madras western or not. There's a good chance i'll get it because I don't have enough lightweight IH shirts. The 220 from the SS19 releases is my favorite.
5. 3sixteen henleys (white and indigo)
6. IH deck jacket. I hope to eventually get one as this has been on my wishlist for several years.
7. IH-526PJ or IH-526J-142. I want both but undecided on which. Can't really go wrong with either I guess
8. IH-777S-21. Yep, I need more IH denim.Anyone wanna buy a kidney?

Maybe without the laudanum addiction, unless you want something to match the alcoholism, eh @Seul
-
- More vacation time
And since neph is looking for materialism, not that intangible crap: - Inov-8 X-Talon (either the G 210 or G 235, I'm still undecided)
- IH gift cards
- More vacation time

I'm getting an Andersen-Andersen indigo sweater / cardigan, but not sure which…
This Christmas is going to be special because it is going to be the last one we celebrate in my parents' home. My Dad passed away last year and we're likely to sell the house after this school year. It's not Downton Abbey, but 3 generations of my family have now lived in the house.

Do teachers in Norway even have to work, or do you just show up occasionally to take toilet selfies and collect a paycheck?
(I'm just lashing out because I'm jealous…)
Hey! I take toilet selfies almost daily. The market for them amongst lonely American housewives whose husbands never have vacation time is insane. The grind is real, but it pays a lot more than teaching.

I like some of the vintage East West Musical Instruments jackets from the sixties and seventies, and Electric Leather Studio are a Japanese brand that is heavily inspired by them.
I like the Tex, but it'd be somewhere over $2000 to get one in my size, along with a trip to Japan to get fitted.
