Was too slow to pull the trigger on this jacket, specifically the navy color.  Any chance of a restock?

5'9" approx 185lb... deciding between L and XL... I wear XL in most IH shirts both western and workshirts...

Both fit ok... notable differences to me are that L is a tiny bit tight across the shoulders/chest when I cross my arms and the XL is noticably longer on me.

Leaning towards XL... opinions?

It's a grey area.  Satin technically is a type of weave.  It can be made from cotton, rayon, silk or nylon.  Though some definitions insist the satin be made from silk.

Ours is made from nylon.

Very cool lesson on satin @Giles , thanks!

Leaning towards XL... opinions?

Only two years ago I would have voted XL @tangfj , but after 5+ years in this forum and from the depths of the IH rabbit hole...I like L better.
The journey is the objective.

The L looks like a better fit.

Same. The sleeve length seems better on the Large.

Bad news (not really in the context of what is going on in the world right now): fit was a little boxy for my liking so it will be going back to IHUK.

Good news: another small in navy will be available for someone else that wants to grab it.

Fabric and construction were top notch and everything I've come to expect from IH.  The jacket will work really well as a light jacket for those looking for something to wear in the transitional months.  I'm just really picky about fit.
Wanted to Buy:
IHSH-20 Red (Small).
IHSH-11 Blue (Small).

One of my favorite details on this jacket is how the ribbing weaved on the cuffs goes from large to small. A really minor thing that I notice when I wear it.
Thanks @Graham

This is why I asked... I don't think the cut looks very flattering for an athletic (golf) jacket. Bummed to hear I wasn't wrong.

Managed to pick up a Large in the navy.  I have been lucky (quick) with my last couple of IH purchases.  Really like this jacket, well executed, good cut that fits me nicely.  Been wearing it mainly with plain waffle tops or sweatshirts.  Pleased I snagged the navy as I have too many black jackets already. The red check lining works really well with the outer fabric.  Super nice jacket, well chuffed.
There is no 'I' in team ............... however there are five in 'individual brilliance'.

Got any fit pics? This is a great jacket that is def my style but unfortunately not going to happen atm. I’d like to continue to live vicariously....
