Seriously, though- when you're doing 80mph and don't see another car for 45 minutes, it starts to make sense.

(The speed limit question, that is; I've got nothing for you on the first question. That doesn't make a lot of sense to me, either...)

Are you still planning to go to El Paso, or have current events caused you to reassess your itinerary?

Hueco Tanks will be the closest we get to El Paso. It’s about an hour away and I think we’ll skip that day trip.
