IHSH-11, IHSH-20 and IHM-01 packed and ready to go. actually wanted to take some chucks, but now the IHVB-01 has to run the streets along with me! oh well, could be worse ;)

If you're after fish and chips in central London, then I can recommend Golden Union, which is at the top of Poland Street, just off Oxford Street.

http://www.goldenunion.co.uk/

They cook their chips in a mixture of duck fat and vegetable oil, and they're very good.

Ok, it turns out that the latest BFI LFF is showing the latest film by one of my favourite directors: Jim Jarmursch. Sorted. I will be in London from 18:00-ish 19th October until 12:00-ish 21st October.

Looking forward to it already, this will be the closest I get  to a holiday this year.

I'm looking to move house / flat. Anyone who needs a housemate or knows of a spare room, shout.

I cook, clean and drink beer. Minimum requirements surely.

Hi guys,
this might have been posted in the Real McCoy's tread already, but it might definitely be useful here too.
The Real Mccoy's London store is to open at 15 Henrietta Street (Covent Garden), around 10-12 December time according to the facebook page.

Went to London this past weekend and planned my trip partly based on the ideas here, thanks guys! :)
I'd like to add and recommend:

    • Flat Iron (great food presentation, attentive staff, fair priced)
    • SAID Chocolate (get their chocolate tea, simply amazing.. thick, rich chocolate.. not watery, not milky. just right)
    • Vintage Showroom (great little store with actual vintage stuff)
    • Coffee on Monmouth St (thanks, @Winchy)

I also went to see Rivet & Hide, American Store Classics, Red Wing, Filson and Golden Union (great fish n chips).
