I don't understand the appeal of fake gear... How are you gonna wear it proudly or show off in it?.. It's just like cheating - lying to yourself.

A lot about the pic looks legit, accept for the rookie mistake with the lot number. That seems to be a IHTL-1213 the guy is wearing too. So probably hashed together from proper material.

There are legit outlets in China I believe, but they won’t be allowed to sell via eBay. That and the price is what gives it away.

Edit: a lot of the time these days they aren’t even holding fake product. They just send you something else, stop answering emails and keep your money. My father-in-law paid about $100 for what should have been a $250 pair of hiking boots. He received a very cheaply made floral silk scarf

I saw these on eBay today. Saw the price and the shipping from China....red flags.

Another eBay find. These look like the above overalls, but the seller is in Philadelphia rather than https://www.ebay.com/itm/IRON-HEART-17OZ-DUCK-DOUBLE-KNEE-OVERALLS-PANTS/283671598036?hash=item420c2513d4:g:BXUAAOSwJAxdyDyh
The patch is the thing that caught my eye- the font for the lot number and size isn’t consistent with what is on the product page. The sewing looks wrong too, going off the edges vs stopping before the edge is reached. That’s about all I can tell. Seller has some nice detail shots, but neither the product page nor the forum do. Maybe @Giles can comment?
Hopefully ignorance on part of the seller if they are indeed fakes. Only selling one pair vs many in different sizes offered by the ones above. The price caught my eye too, though I know people are sometimes apt to start with no reserve in hopes the bids will drive up the final cost.

Fake.  The IH-809 was a pair of denim pants...

https://www.ironheart.co.uk/extinct/ih-809.html

They also look heavily washed (more so than ours), but the patch is new....
