San Diego Comic Con !!!!!!! My dream  ;D

Take a billion pictures if you go Michael  :)

I went 3 years ago on a work trip, it was excellent. Everything from Suicide Girls from old dudes dressed as Power Girl.

There are some things you want to re-live, and some you just can't un-see, no matter how much alcohol you drink...

Jim Steranko... His work at Marvel was amazing, one of my absolute favourite Captain America story-lines. And he revolutionised Nick Fury.

Anyone check out the new Before Watchmen yet? I want to check it out even though the whole series is kinda a sacrilege. I was curious what you guys thought, though.

I must admit that the idea intrigued me, but DC are shitting on so much stuff at the moment. They're hiring the writers that nearly killed Marvel 15 years ago.

Yeah, I don't read comics that often. I picked up a few when "the new 52" from DC came out. Some were okay. Most were bad.

I'll still probably check out Before Watchmen. Curiosity always gets the best of me.

I tried to cheer myself up about the shitty state of my beloved DC by re-reading all the classics, now I am finished I feel all sad and empty when I look at what they're doing now  :(

I keep wanting to. I know it's a really cynical attempt to generate more cash, as a friend of mine said "Watchmen is perfect, it contains its own backstory".

On the other hand, I am slightly curious... £3.00 per comic is too much though, I may wait until it's all collected.

Or it gets cheap in digital form. I feel the holding back of the last two story arcs as a really, really cynical move though.
