@Graham I f'ing love Brutus. I have both albums, but Nest is exceptional. Have you heard Oathbreaker, also from Belgium?

Another favourite is Dilly Dally...Kathy's voice! They are like a cross between Babes in Toyland,  Pixies, and Ride

Positively IN AWE of the new Tool album. Spectacular. Stunning. Redefining.

^100% agree.  I've been waiting, like all Tool fans, 13 years for this album and it has blown me away.  I'm really glad the mix puts Danny front and center because his drumming is unreal on this album.  I'm on listen #5 right now.

@Chesson !!!!
We had been so focused today that we totally forgot to listen to the new Tool album. I’m sorry I made you listen Guns N Roses all day!

To be fair, really giving it the respect it deserves means intently listening and getting absolutely no work done....  Maybe not a bad thing for a Friday.

He's not joking, @Graham has Guns N Roses on ALL DAY. We threw some Hot Water Music in there too, but the new Tool album is on the cards this evening!

That's music to work to though. Especially if it's AFD. UYI is about 30 songs too long...

I have been a Tool fan since the Undertow album was released.  I can't believe how much I like this new album.  Downloaded it last night shortly after midnight (EST), and have listened to it in it's entirety about 6 times now.

They have put out a masterpiece!

And all of us younger fans are super jealous you can say that.

Back then ticket prices were at least affordable. It was the same when I saw the Foo Fighters when they were touring the first album. Nowadays tickets are obscenely expensive and for that kinda dough I’d rather spend it on IH

Sadly, I didn’t see them during the Undertow era because nobody I was hanging around with at the time was interested in them.  I did see them for each of the next three album tours (3 times for 10000 Days Era) and highly recommend seeing them live at least once.

The only band I have enjoyed seeing live more was Pink Floyd.  That was an unbelievable experience.

The crazy thing is that I’m not into the drug experience and can only imagine what they would be like under the influence.
