I take it nobody was into the Floor album I posted... but I love that so much. It has probably the heaviest 'song' I ever heard. I could listen to that album on repeat. It's a great alternative to OM and the Melvins when I grow tired of listening to that all the time.

@Filthy I have owned and loved that album for many years. Used to blow my mind that Floor and Hot Water Music shared a label (No Idea, out of Florida).

@Palmer I've got Gatecreeper's first 2 albums on cd. Thanks for the heads up, I'll pick this up. Are some of these dudes in Mammoth Grinder too? Can't remember.

Steve Brooks singer and one guitar player is also in a similar band called Torche if you haven't heard them. But I am sure you have. Floor had a bunch of eps from the 90s I don't care for as much. They were more of a powerviolence band.

Ragnar Kjartansson's 'A Whole lot of Sorrow' was an art piece where he had the Brooklyn band The National play their classic tune 'Sorrow' over and over for 6 hours. No video as such to be accessed online (thankfully?) so in lieu of that:

@Filthy OM are one of my all-time favourites, I reckon I listen to Advatic songs several times a week, every week.

Good shout on Floor, I knew they became Torche who are great but never went back to listen to them so will do that today!
