Denime
« on: January 18, 2012, 05:51:19 pm »
Founded 1988 in Kobe. Nevertheless it is one of the infamous "Osaka 5".
Denime had a few different owners over the past years (Orrizonti, Shins). Now it belongs to McCoys.

Denime is loved most for its XX denim, which has a very great fading potential. Just google for 'Denime XX' or check out Ruedi's pair of the XX/66XX contest.

I own a pair 66XX (Shins), a XX type (new owner) and XX type 1951 (Shins)

My 66XX (too tight for me)

XX-type (after one soak)

and the XX-type 1951

Some more random impressions

See you later

Yes indeed. One of the nicest denims out there. What a sham that we can't see if the new ones can keep up with the old ones.
I don't care what people say.. The Max Power way is the right way...

thanks for keeping me on track R  :-*
0500 will show up, that's for sure. Question is when.

Well, I could wear the XX as sweat pants in the evening. They are wider and lighter. Might work :D

The first Japanese brand of  denim i came across was Denime around the latter part of the 90's. I 'd be damned if i can recall the model i had as i can remember is that they had a beautiful handle as well as rather strangely a wonderful smell about them, lol!

thanks rocket!

they are totally different to what you guys normaly like. and also totally different to my usual taste.
paper patch, zip fly, light sanforized denim...all that stuff I normally not fancy off :D
but I love them for what they are. a try to reproduce a levi's 502 from the '60s or '70s
