Why would one care to change the direction of the twill?  Is it merely to change things up or is there a valid reason to have one over the other?
LHT typically fades with less contrast than RHT, LHT is usually softer than RHT.

Left hand side = Left hand twill - Right hand side = Right hand twill

I just realized that the waist 35 TW-634S is pretty much the same sizing as my waist 35 Vulcans.  I just want to make one point, the same cut can evolve over time. A great example is the classic Levis 501 STF. It changes so much that you have to use a year in front of it, to delineate certain cuts. It looks like the 634S cut of old is slimming down, which I personally like.

And if it is, it a complete accident.  I will address it with Haraki.  The 634S should be the 634S

Yeah, I doubt Haraki is intentionally screwing around with his signature cut.  I'd chalk it up to the inherent difficulties of making radically different denim types behave the same way during and after construction.

They are washed, so wear just 'em.  No pussy-footing required.  The Stubborn Crew have done the girly stuff.....

I just got these and am on day 5 of breaking them in. The denim is nice and tight as expected. It feels really substantial...I am switching between these and my 634 self edge 23's....I am going through a strange period where I seem to want to breakin jeans. Weird.
I have several pair of the older TW 13.75oz and these fit a bit larger in the rise..much better for me. They are similar in fit to the 23's.
The 15's will be  worn till summer when the jeans take a little vacation. Highly recommended....contemplating getting another pair. Best jeans ever!

I grabbed a pair but have just been wearing them @ nights around the house to get e break in started. I dig them, haven't worn such kit denim in years, should be nice when I'm down in Austin TX next month. They're definitely a bit slim and I need the waist to stretch a bit but they'll be fine once that happens.
