Hi Red Wing experts!

I'm lusting over the Legacy Moc 1907 model but I have no idea how true to size these shoes are. I am usually an 11.5 D, or 45, although my Luccheses are 11D.
I thank you guys in advance

Unless you have a particularly wide foot.

Thanks
Should I downsize from the sneaker size or the Lucchese size? In other words should I grab an 11 or a 10.5 if my EU foot size is 45 (normally 11.5 in the US)

I'd say go with 11.
I am a 10.5 in most everything and a 10 in these (also these happen to be my favorite boots I've ever had).
Also keep in mind that these work best with a slightly thicker sock, so you should fill out the 11 just fine.

I am a size 13 and seeing as there is no 12 and a half, could i do a 12 in the GT's or the iron ranger? Or should i just get a 13 and put in soles in?

Pulled the trigger on a pair of 1907's. Comfy right from the start, but I'm still going to insert a gel sole (since I've discovered those, I put them everywhere!), great color.

One funny thing: the shoe is big and for a while, I couldn't shift gears on my motorcycle the way I'm used to. Driving back through Paris last night at rush hour was a total bitch for a few awkward minutes!

Anyone waiting on orders for Red Wing in the UK - my Iron Rangers are over 2 months in the pipeline now. Apparently RW has changed their wharehousing operation recently.

Really ticking me off.

Update: the leather laces have been keeping breaking, really pisses me off. I'm a go for regular laces, which is too bad because I kinda loved the color match.

Really?   I have leather laces in two of my pairs of RWs and I haven't ever broken them. Have you tried multiple lace types?

I found oiling the laces first really helps with the elasticity.

Its the lace for the right shoe that kept breaking, I guess it was a defect with that particular lace. I need to find something more resistant, though, like electric wire or kevlar or whatever, because I'm pulling real hard on them laces when I put the shoes on in the morning. Nothing brutal but quite tight.

has anyone got any experience with the original store (london)?
http://www.theoriginalstore.co.uk/11_Red-Wing-Shoe-Co
i'm tempted to cop one of the 875's but i'm kinda worried because the store is not listed in RW's official retailer and the price is around 40% cheaper than normal  8)
it's not a jeans, it's an iron heart
