Few years back , when i was still working at refinery i used to wear Red Wing work boots, we were given a pair every 6 month until company starts to cutting down cost . I do still have few pair brand new size 5 & 6 uk, the "pull on" type. No doubt about it , they are good working shoes.
-
my next purchase is a pair of the iron rangers. im really diggin those.
-
aye, coming winter i want some iron rangers too.
Now i have a pair of 875 but i wore down the crepe sole pretty quick. And because im walking on the outside of my feet it starts to become uncomfortable. Anybody have some experience resoling them? in EU?
-
I have three pairs, two pairs of Gentleman Travellers and one pair of the chukkas. Love these boots
-
do they run true to size? ive heard the rangers are alittle on the big side.
-
RW runs pretty big…it's safe to size down a half size...
-
American Classics (London) advised me that the Iron Ranger sizes up a bit more again than the other boots. I.e.: you could size down a whole 1 size as long as you were not uber wide foot.
Their link if any one wants it: http://www.classicredwingshoes.co.uk/categories/iron-ranger

Thank you Beats and Hectic
-
Just as what Hectic said, be careful if you have wide feet with Red Wing sizing.
They do tend to run narrow (GT, Iron Ranger, Chukka) and need tender love when breaking into. -
de nada…
