I will create a proper thread soon.  We still have to work out the financing and bring it home to Maryland from Virginia.  We have some additions to make so it can stay off grid for a few weeks at a time like solar panels, composting toilet, etc.  We may try to do it ourselves which will be a total shit show so I'm sure some of you out there will enjoy seeing that progress (regress).  We'll be heading out in mid July, or sooner if the house sells quickly.  Stay tuned...

We started the financing process today.  So far so good.  The insurance quote is fair.  We found some “suitcase” solar panels  that don’t require permanent installation so that will save us a ton.  Hopefully we can have it in few weeks.  I’m anxious to sit under its awning and drink beer.  Drinking beer outside of your mobile home is the American way.

So envious. That's one of my American dreams, to tour the country with an off-road capable vehicle towing something like that.
Think it, be it.
