One of the worst things about some of these is the fact Evisu, and some other brands, have made multiple equally awful pairs….. Which means enough people bought the first round to justify another. Tragic.
-
Crazy…
-
But one should always differ between Evisu Japan and Evisu International.
That said, Evisu had "always" very questionable designs in their offerings, not only in the last decade. They are around for 24 years I think. Enough time for crazy stuff ;D -
Yep there is some sort of a backstory behind this. There is / was Evisu J, Evisu International and Evisu EU. And the later two went very different paths design and…. wise to the JP one...

Hope all those backpockets has hidden rivets!!! The pair looks pretty useful IMO.

The historical aspect is there, no doubt, but I still think wearing one of these as a pair for your leisure time looks silly. If one's not a rodeo-clown of course.
-
^I was about to say the same thing. When someone asks you about your jeans do you say, "it's a tribute to 50's rodeo clowns, which are my style inspiration."
-
yep, don't see there a problem, but that's me ;D
was just showing the historical reference, not that I would jump on em…

My favorite was that same pair of Evis but with a brown arc.
Also these!

Gotta say that Evisu was my first dip into Japanese raw denim a few years ago. Was amazed by their denim (No. 3?), the quality and that the seagull arcs were painted on by hand on the backpockets. Nowadays I wouldn't wear them though. Too flashy.

And we have a new contender by Kura:
