I've oogled at these for years now, and seeing that they are nearly sold out it may be an appropriate time to ask for some changes.

I'd like a somewhat smaller key case as this one is too long for my intended use. How about shortening it by 2.5 cm to a 9 cm length? Any comments from forum members who have used it?

I would much prefer if it used the same metal for the snap as for the shackle. Brass would be my favored metal for the natural key case.

I have the natural one. I have no issues with the length, in fact it couldn’t be any shorter. I have two normal house keys in mine and if it was shorter I wouldn’t be able to close it.

I had the same thought regarding the shackle so I sourced a brass one online. Most big hardware stores with a maritime section should be able to help.

My old key case recently fell apart and it was quite a bit shorter than the W&A one in natural. Can't seem to find it to take a picture with a ruler next to it to show it here. I'm wondering whether we may use shorter/smaller keys around here than in other parts of the world?

Would you share a few pictures of yours with keys in it? Don't the tips of the keys swing out of the case?

Sure... the snap is placed in such a way that the bottom of the case keeps just enough of the case closed to stop things falling out.





I know that Kurt from Faith who makes them has a reputation for testing his products rigorously to ensure their practical worth as well as their aesthetic value.

Mine has been practically unused but it deserved a treatment with Obenauf's Leather Oil and the result is amazing. It instantly turned from its original natural shade into this gorgeous brown colour.
