It's the only way to wear it without causing damage... At work I pull my knife hundreds of times/ day so my options are limited... Practicality > looks.

Anyone know of a way to prevent the entry from tearing more? It's not that bad at this point (in my eyes), but I'd prefer to do something preemptive rather than let it wear more. I've also seen injunjack's repair on this thread, however I'm wanting to actually repair the tear.
