Hi All,

Apologies if this should be somewhere else and please move if needed.

So I'm looking at getting a ball chain necklace.

Here is where I need your help.

Looking for a necklace to hang my late mother's wedding band on, so I'm leaning towards a #3 because the ring is small and thin, BUT I may want to add one of my father's rings to it in the future. I plan on wearing them like a rondel, not on the clasp I'll be explaining below.

Also, I'd like to have some sort of secure clasp or something to place my rings on when not wearing them.

So, can you recommend some ball chain clasp combinations that would fit my needs?

And I'm thinking of 24 length so it doesn't slip over my head when swimming.

@Yogi217

I would recommend going for the number 10 ball chain. In terms of clips, these are some options:

CLip 16

Clip 7

Clip 8

If you'd like any more details, drop us an email

@Alex

Thank. What size clip 8 would you recommend?

I don't want something too big and bulky, but can hold a men's wedding band/ring and a signet ring. Someone I talked to a while ago suggested the AA, but I wasn't able to see it or the other sizes in person.

I'll see if I can post a picture of my rings for sizing.

I would suggest an A or an AA for sure. A couple of photos for size reference below

The rings look on the smaller side, so I think the AA would look best personally.

@Alex

Here are a few more to give a better idea of width at widest and slimmest points.

Still AA?

Will AA or A also fit other non-ball chains? Trying to future proof my purchase.

This has now been taken over to email direct, but for anyone else who was interested, we do recommend the AA.

Definitely AA, the A is too bulky...

@Kasi that's beautiful and thanks for the recommendation.

Made my first GAH purchase today. Ordered the #10 ball chain 24".

Waiting on the stocking of the Clip 8 AA. Once that hits IHUK, that will be purchase number 2.
