Damn, yes it is. That block heel is sooooo nice. I need a summer boot in my arsenal. That may be it.

I've a Wesco sized windfall currently burning a hole in my pocket. These are on the cards (but so is the IHWE-05 and a theoretical custom Packer build). I have a couple of questions...

1. The thin rubber heel looks like it could be easily replaced by a high street cobbler when it wears through. Is this a correct assumption?

2. How do they look with narrow hemmed denim? I'm concerned the straps might be an issue in a pair of 555's.

Definitely yes for the first question.  Heel pads are quick and easy to replace, and it's generally about a $15-20 job.

No idea about the second question, sorry.

Thanks, Chris.

With regards to question 2, maybe @Sam  could test them out with a pair of 555's for me?

Hey @neph93

I'll do my best to get a shot of those today with some 555's i'm not wearing mine today but i think they might be a bit narrow for the pull ons. Unless you're fine with tucking them into the boots?

We've got a big delivery in today so i may not be able to get round to it today but i'll do my best

I will not be tucking them in. No rush at all but I'd like know. I'm afraid the pull up straps on the sides may disturb the sillouhette...
