IH-634S-SLB - 16oz Slubby Selvedge Denim Straight Cut Jeans - Indigo
-
absolutly agree with Chris , less strech than the 21oz
I would actually say the less stretch from all my IH Jeans so far . Maybe it just takes longer .
Started to wear my 21oz lefty’s at same time in rotation with the SLB’s , so same days of wear.
The lefty’s stretch a lot more, at least it feels so. But of course this is my personal feeling/ experience without having measured them at the start of wearing.
But in fact it is does not matter for me cause they fit perfectly. -
You know me too well, @neph93. There's definitely more of me than there should be, and of course, I've never measured, so my opinion is entirely subjective. That said, I think these stretch, just less than the 21oz, and perhaps more relevantly, they don't feel like they stretch as easily as the 21oz (See? I'm being subjective again) even if measurements prove that they do stretch as far.

Ok guys , I found the original waist measurement from my pair.
I started with 31.6“ , today I measured 32.4“ -
2“ ??? more than 5 cm ???
wow, think you need a belt and braces to hold em up now . -
I'm looking at this pair for Indigo Inv. Y3, would I find the fit somewhat comparable? Biggest differences I see is mostly in the rise and knee.
Sorry, missed this. You're right about the rise. But the whole top block is different. The 634 has a trimmer top block overall, while still being comfortable, and the rise makes for another fit entirely.
As for the leg, the 888 tapers the whole way from thigh to hem accounting for the slimmer knee and leg opening, while the 634 stays much straighter from the knee down, losing only about half an inch in width.
They are both comfortable cuts, and while I am a fan of the 888, I now prefer the 634. Not least because of my 48 year old über dad-bod, but also because style wise I prefer the wider leg opening over chunky sneakers and boots

Indeed — those are looking really damn good! I'm definitely a notch more slub curious now.

few weeks in, and it's already getting drenched.

@Alex_24 nice! Have these been your main pair lately? I ended up giving my 634s-SLB to my fiancée and picked up a pair of the 555SLB for me instead. Only a few wears so far…trying to get as many XHS days in as I can before it heats up here in Maryland.
Love the texture shot on your pair. Would be stoked to see more!

Have these been your main pair lately?
Yes, they’ve been my daily wear for the last few months. And I love them [emoji7]
There’s so much texture that from a distance one could confuse them for Wabash [emoji119][emoji23]

Got mine in the mail today and I must say… goddamn these are the bees knees As usual thanks to @Graham for finding the perfect pair and whoever was running the hem machine did a perfect job
Feels damn good to be back in a pair of 634 after a long winter of rocking the 888xhs. Looking forward to trying out the xhs and 21oz in the near future

whoever was running the hem machine did a perfect job
Iron Heart really does amazing hem work. I took it for granted or maybe it just seemed automatic that a hem will just magically look perfect, not always true.
-
It's probably one of those things that seem easy until you actually try to do it. I have had some local tailors butcher hem jobs on a few pair of my work pants. I once got a pair of IH work pants chopped to shorts and one leg was an inch longer…the actual cuff was also far from straight lol.

Another wash of my sample IH-666S-SLB. About 7 or 8 months and approx 6 washes.
Newbie here :).
I realize this is an old thread. Do you know when more of the 666 SLB will be in stock?
I just received my first pair(s) of IH (666is and 634slb). LOVE the 666 cut, it seems to work better for my shape. Not sure yet on the 634SLB’s. The denim is awesome, but they see, to flare out a bit at the hips. I’m 6’1, 172 Lbs with a fairly lean build.
Lastly, I’m curious did you remove the tag from these?
