@Joberwocky The N1 deck vest is even more versatile that it looks.
You can wear it like Rueben over a hoody as a compliment layer to a casual outfit. I'm pairing with a work shirt and boots to elevate a fall weather work gear look. It's also great to wear over a medium weight jacket to take you into winter and give you the core warmth your body needs.
I want the jacket too, very badly. The Alpaca/wool lining is really warm and soft. The Indigo dyed whipcord vest was too good to pass up and I had to grab it.

Looks great. Really fancied that jacket but was not prepared for it to sell so quickly. What size did you go with?
@Joberwocky I can sign my name to everything @jordanscollected says about the N-1 vest. Very versatile indeed. I’ll be wearing mine over a type III a lot during the coming winter.
At the same time you can’t go wrong with the jacket. I have one that is six years old now and has been been relegated to a winter work jacket but they are super warm, and quite amazing at shutting put wind. While they are not waterproof, or treated to be water resistant, they do well in wet weather due to the properties of the fabric weave.
For me the jacket is an excellent november to march item, while the vest will be usable over a longer period and in different ways. I’d analyse your wardrobe, and areas of use and take it from there.

Cheers @neph93 I went with an XL. I’m an L in IH Workshirts. I haven’t tried it with a shirt yet but the sleeves are a touch narrow. Probably be alright. An excuse to throw up some more pics later..

Please do. Last years version of this is in the Outlet in an L and I was considering that as alternative. Based on your experience it sounds like I may need an XL though. Bugger. [emoji1]

I’ve been waiting on this since last year. I’ve eyed up that large many times, but always felt the XL was the way to go. It works under and over a few pieces for me so I’m super happy.

@Oaktavia Looking good especially that 4-1 Ravens cap. A really fun restaurant to go to,if you’re ever in Pas a Gril,Florida is the Brass Monkey. I think the owners are from Baltimore,and they are Ravens fanatics. It’s definitely considered a haven for Ravens fans. Food is traditional bar food,but good. I’ve been there when the Ravens are playing and it’s pretty wild.
