RE: IH-888-XHS - 25oz Selvedge Denim Medium/High Rise Tapered Cut Jeans - Indigo
@wjw There is not an exact science to it and everyone will experience slightly different levels of stretch unique to their body type and wear. 25oz will stretch out less than 14oz and 21oz, though. The denim is unwashed and once washed, you will experience some shrinkage - approximately one inch in the waist (the inseam will also shrink about an inch and all other dimensions in proportion to this). The waist will stretch back out to approximately what you started with, and potentially a little more when they soften and under continued wear. I would look to size so that they are comfortable out of the bag, this will give some room to deal with the initial shrinkage.

RE: What is your favorite IH denim.
18oz vintage for me currently, but similarly to @Giles if im wearing one pair regularly, I grow a strong affection to them and at the moment, its my 18oz. I was the same with the 21oz and slubs.

RE: IHJ-142-IND - 21oz Serge Windbreaker - Indigo
@MSav32323 We had all tried these on and not noticed but now you have mentioned it and weve looked at the stock on hand I can see what you mean. I think it is probably accentuated by the weight of the fabric and zipper. confirming what Alex said though, this wouldnt have been to do with the snap upgrade and i think it will settle as the fabric is worn and softens. Something for us to note in the future though, thank you

@Nocturama Nice on mate, hopefully this takes your attentions away from Fantasy Football for a few weeks - maybe that was @Alex plan all along

RE: IRON HEART WAYWT - 2025 EDITION
@tvaillant75 This is the sample large, though could be slightly different in production.
I was only planning on wearing it this morning as I had under dressed for the temp
- I will try and give it some decent wear in the office pre launch

RE: IRON HEART WAYWT - 2025 EDITION
@T4920 They had a stand at Lianping in China, so got it back in November when we were there. I love it, although it is not as warm as my Iron Heart shirts/jackets, hence grabbing the Kersey from the sample rail while the office heats up!

RE: January (FW25) Trade Shows - Berlin, Paris and NYC
@jordanscollected In all honesty we didnt get a huge amount of chance to browse. Every time we went to, someone else came to the stand. The brands I did get chance to chat to and look through that I really enjoyed were Fleurs de Bagne, Mickey Oye and a brand called Shawclassy. They are a Chinese brand we met in Beijing who specialise in hand made sashiko clothing, Alex and Giles bought a jacket each in China and the fabric is beautiful.

RE: Random questions to which you seek an answer
@bluemantra Thank you. There will be times when we apply our judgement and cases like this will usually be offered as a free service
. We just need to have some rigid rules in black and white. That being said, we wouldn't cover the back and forth shipping so it is often more economical to have them hemmed locally to save those shipping costs, dependant on location of course.
-
RE: Random questions to which you seek an answer
@jerkules Hey mate so the official standpoint from us is that hemming is free at the time of purchase. There can be some instances where we can bend this rule - first time customers trying jeans on and returning them to us to get their sizing right etc. If you are returning jeans which have been worn for some time to be hemmed, this would not be free. Looking at the product page, we could make this clearer so will work on that now

RE: January (FW25) Trade Shows - Berlin, Paris and NYC
Had the pleasure of showing @kiya, Demitra, Young and Sean from Self Edge the FW25 collection today. It was brilliant to spend time with them and chat over lunch. They took me to a BBQ joint in Paris and they said it didn't let itself down compared to some of the best, which is high praise considering how long they have spent in Austin. I absolutely loved it!
Soon to be heading back to the airport for homeward journey, hoping the UK storm doesnt cause too much disruption

And yes, I couldn’t believe it when Eli suggested a kebab
the guys at HQ know how happy that would have made me!

RE: January (FW25) Trade Shows - Berlin, Paris and NYC
Went for drinks and dinner with Eli from Berkeley Supply Co in Paris. A great guy with an awesome store if you are visiting Denver! He thought he had booked us a dinner but had added us to the waiting list, we ended up having a kebab which I was more than happy with!
The first beer of the night was “Indigo”, very apt!
