really enjoying this slowdive cover
-
Death Cab for Cutie was pretty far off my radar here lately but that new single's great.
-
I always struggle to grok that this came out in 1974
-
^Great song. I kinda prefer the cover by Opeth though. But I'm super biased haha..
-
Thanks dude
Magnabowl tickets obtained. Who is coming to Watkins Glen -

Had this record on repeat lately
-
I went to see my friend @youngofthesoonest and his band perform. It was amazing.
I highly recommend all you fellow Iron Heart brethren at least check out this one song…It was the only song I knew the words well enough to sing along to at the performance. hehehe
-
thank you sir for the shout out. good seeing you!
-
I can not get this out of my head.
Great cover.

Sun Kil Moon will release their new album, "Universal Themes", on June 2. Had no idea this was happening, but it makes me super fucking excited. Benji was the best record last year, and I love Kozelek.
-
^agreed, this album is supposed to have electric guitar on it.
-
http://www.spin.com/articles/sun-kil-moon-new-song-ali-spinks-2-stream/ - yup, electric guitar. The drummer from Sonic Youth is also performing, at least a few songs, on the record. Apparently they're doing some kind of collab with Jesu as well.

I've been into this kind of crust/d-beat for more than half my life, and I don't think I have ever heard something more awesome than this is. The higher pitched singers vocals are completely mind-blowing. I've been listening to this on repeat for a while now. Such ferocity and power. I can't believe I just heard about these guys last month. I only wish I knew how to speak Swedish.
(so intense, listen at your own risk)
Skitsystem Stigmata FULL ALBUM: -
Great album, completely sick indeed.
-
That's a great Album. As swedish is similar to german, I can understand some of it, like gra värld / svarta tänker, all e skit etc. Full of positivity haha.
-
Can you gents recommend any other newer band like this. I've heard Anti-Cimex and the lot. But is there anything new?
-
Wolfbrigade "In darkness you feel no regrets" - put that in your pipe and smoke it…
As for other bands - I left the hc/ punk path many moons ago... But I'll see what I can come up with...
