Leather Preservative Experiment

I'll keep this running for a few months, and leave the samples outside to brave the elements.

I have nailed four offcuts of natural leather from our leather belts to a plank.

1) No preservative
2) Mustang Paste
3) Obenaufs Heavy Duty LP
4) Obenaufs Leather Oil

Great idea, I'm always intrigued by the different effects of different preservers. Should be interesting.

Great idea Monday & G. I've used LP up until now but think maybe Oil is the way to go...guess i'll have the chance to find out now:)

yep and will be really interesting to see how the elements will change the leather over the time...
